Tour De Force: Live In London - The Borderline

Joe is the blues guitar man who also happens to have a voice you can really get in to. Saw him live recently in the SF Bay Area and his live albums only give the slightest taste to this man's awesome talent!

I am a huge fan of all Joe Bonamassa's music and had planned to purchase the entire Tour de Force set on vinyl as soon as it was released. That is until I saw early reviews complaining about the "fading" between songs on the live album. I bought the first album and was reluctant to listen to it based on the reviews. I was so blown away by the sound quality the fade was a non issue for me! I have every album Joe has ever released and this set is by far the best sounding live album he has put out yet.

I bought all four of Tour de Force CDs and love them all. Bonamassa has a great style, sound and backup musicans on this concert tour. I watched and listened to his special on PBS and had to have his music in my collection. I have not been disappointed. Even though there is some duplication of songs on the four concert venues, I believe he had different backup bands at each location. So there is a unique sound & feel to those songs on each CD. Get it, you'll love it.

Joe Bonamassa is a very good, very versatile blues and rock guitarist (and singer, but I am in it for the guitar playing). This double cd (which is part of a series of live performances) has good, high-energy playing by all performers, and it is nice that Joe doesn't feel that he has to hog the spotlight.

I got the 4-DVD set of these concerts for Christmas and I kept asking myself why no CD is available. I was stoked when I saw these on Amazon's Digital Music Library! I bought all 4 and they are just fantastic. I can't seem to get enough of Joe! I was fortunate enough to see him live in Atlanta at the Fox Theater last November for the first of hopefully many more times!

Bought all four of the 'Tour de Force' double albums, and each one shows a slightly different side of Joe B's amazing talent -- and the talents of the amazing group of musicians backing him at each venue. A must have for any Bonamassa fan.

This guy is just starting . Wait a few year,s and see if he can keep putting out great music.

This is a great double live cd featuring tracks going back to the beginning of his career. There are a lot of live Bonamassa albums out there and all of are worth getting. Recommended!
