Like it but I can go without.
I purchased this product because I loVe gadgets and I want to slice water melons nicely. The product arrived in great condition. I used it on cantaloupe before trying on watermelon. My cantaloupe was too ripe but I did get some fine slices. With watermelon s, it dies not go deep enough, so I have to do it oNe more time. Also the handle hurts my hand. That is why I took one star off.For me, a knife is the best tool for melons.

I'm not sure why anyone would use this piece of total junk...much much easier and much less messy to just slice watermelon with a knife. Please don't waste your money on this flimsy, worthless contraption. Oh, and yes, we did use it properly....it's just not any good.

waste of money.. It will become useless quickly.
I bought this a little over a month ago and received it about 5 days later. I used it about 6 or 7 times a week and loved it. Earlier this week, i started to use only to find that the cutting peg had separated from the body and I now had a useless hunk of metal. This was the second of such tools that i had bought . I had the same problem with the other one although it did last about a month longer.

I don't know if I am doing something wrong, but it just won't cut it like the company advertise. It just doesn't work like they claim.

Limited and messy
Lot of waste on a ROUND watermelon. Long, striped, light green ones would probably work better. Also very messy.

A wonderful tool for cutting up watermelons
Sometimes cutting up a melon especially a watermelon can be a pain. This Supreme Watermelon Slicer by furcella makes it a whole lot simpler and easier, and safer as well.
