This set was even better than I expected. The tips were metal with protective wrapping on each individual tip as well as being packaged in a beautiful box that can be used to store them. The coupler was also better than expected with the 3-separate pieces for each bag of color. I didn't have one of these couples prior to this and was happy to get this with this kit too. The coupler is made of a white heavier plastic. I will be able to use these tips for many years to come!

These tips are way bigger than the typical cake decorating tips so you can't use it with the normal ones you have. Wish they had included directions in the box, I had trouble figuring out how to do the coupler and tips....you can unscrew the coupler to put it in a decorating bag, place the tip on and then the outer ring. Once I figured that out it was simply to use with some buttercream frosting I had made up. Next time I might make my frosting a little thicker and play around with the tips more. Once I do I'll try to update my review and add better pics. And it was probably easier to clean than the typical decorating tips b/c these are biggerI received this item at a discount for my honest review.

I will update my review soon after I use these. I got these last night and I was shocked at how large they are! They are huge! I am giddy with excitement at the thought of using them!! It is going to make piping icing even more fun!! Great buy!

This set totally surprised me! It is BEYOND nice, and the quality of the tips is SUPERB. I love the size of them, and they are excellent for any baking decorating needs! I also love the box that they came in - excellent and nice for storage. I would highly recommend this set to ANY baker out there!

Very good and thick material (Stainless Steel). Just one tip came with a rough finish, but all the others are very nice. I think just a steel sponge will do the job of smoothing the edge. Over all satisfied with the product.

I love these tips. I have been trying to make more fun cupcakes and use different design but i didn't know how to apply frosting without a spoon or a plastic bag. I been using the plastic bag method and the bag always seems to break and it just comes out uneven and the cupcakes look so unappealing and unprofessional. These tips make it so great to use and very easy for everyone to use to create designs. I can make flowers, stars, pointed flowers, swirls; with these tips anything is possible. I would have just say to use a frosting tip bag (pastry bag) in stead of a plain ziplock bag, which i made that mistake. These tips are larger than other decorative tips so i had to get a larger pastry bag at michaels which weren't too expensive. These are good for cupcakes or cakes. I would say practice on using the tips because it you are newer like i saw i did mess up a lot so just use a cheaper frosting for practice purposes. I would recommend these tips for anyone wanting to make beautiful designs and trick all your friends thinking your a professional bakery decorator. I received this product at a discounted price for my honest and unbiased opinion of this product.

Let me start out by saying that I love how these come in a handy case for storage. The cheepo plastic set that I got awhile back didn’t come in a case and they float around my utensil drawer. I try to keep them in a plastic Ziploc bag, but it seems at least one manages to escape and roll around the drawer. It will be very nice to have these contained all together in a box. At first glance they are excellent quality. They are stainless steel and non-stick so they will last forever and be easy to clean, 2 major bonus points in my book!! These tips are HUGE, way bigger than my teeny tiny plastic tips I have used in the past. It took me a little bit to get the hang of these as I’ve never used professional piping frosting tips before. When I first started, my frosting wasn’t quite stiff enough so the flowers were kinda mushy. I would recommend to play around with the frosting to make sure it’s the correct consistency. It was an easy fix of adding more powdered sugar to get it where it needed to be. The 11 tips all make beautiful flowers and as I went on experimenting the better they came out. They cleaned up VERY easily as promised. I am very pleased, and would definitely recommend them. I can’t wait until the next time I get to bake a cake and can show off my skills again.
