Wisdom for Everyday Life from the Book of Revelation

I found this book to be the most meaningful book I have ever read pertaining to the book of Revelation. There is much to contemplate here and I came away with a hopefulness that I lacked before reading it. Full of analogies, it helps one to make sense of the times we now live in. I can't recommend it enough. I can hardly wait to read the author's other book, Jesus of Israel: Finding Christ in the Old Testament.

This is the best Catholic commentary I have found on Revelation (although I have not yet read the Catholic Commentary on Sacred Scripture - that series is awesome but I am still working my way through it so I can't comment on Revelation yet). Very readable, and it greatly expanded my understanding of and appreciation for the book.

Absolutely one of my favorite books. Fr. Veras explains Revelations in a way that not only helped me understand John's writing but, as the title implies, helps me apply the teachings found in Revelations to my life today. I highly recommend this book.

I enjoyed reading this book as I studied the Book of Revelation as it reinforced the theme of a marriage feast and celebration and explained the imagery and symbols.

It is a good commentary on the Book of Revelation. You do not have to be a Theologian to be able to understand Father Veras' explainations.
