I Wish I Had Access To This Book When I was A Teenager!
This is a book that every young person needs to read. I really wish I had access to it back when I was in high school. The book is divided into the following parts: family, school, education, and learning, community, money, work, and success, skills, sex, drugs, media, relationships, travel, class and class struggle, race, gender, disability, indigenous struggles, ecocide, immigration and migration, cops and courts, mental wellness, your physical body, and getting older. This radical anthology of essays, poems, and artwork pertaining to youth liberation includes such amazing writers as Ward Churchill, Victoria Law, Derrick Jensen, Maia Ramnath, Mike Davis, Chrimethinc, Dan Chodorkoff, Seth Tobocman, Stephanie McMillan, John Holt, Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha, Dan Savage, Chris Carlsson, Ivan Illich, Cindy Crabb, Wendy-O-Matik, S. Brian Willson, Michelle Alexander, Jamie Heckert, Eli Clare, and Andrea Lee Smith, to name just a few of the awesome contributors. Even if you're no longer a kid, I would still recommend reading this book. In short, this is a really fabulous book for kids of all ages! I highly recommend it!

Terrific collection.
This is such a terrific collection. The book covers a wide variety of topics and issues that matter to youth (and to grown youth). When you feel like nobody's listening, this might be the answer. I wish I'd had this book when I was a kid! Full disclosure: I wrote a piece for Stay Solid! I wish I'd been able to read this book when I was 15 and I'm so glad I was able to contribute to it now.
