Morrisons The Best Yorkshire Pudding with Chicken and Pigs in Blankets, 400g

Bought two of these, but they seem to be very popular, and I haven't been able to get them since..

Vey good but yorkshire pudding soggy bottom after cooking

Morrisons delivery is quick and easy, produce is excellent and good value.My only worry is that if you check some of the options if an item is unavailable you will find there are not necessarily similar so check and if necessary set only 1 alternative or none.

Considering the ingredients and the cost, surprisingly average.Was trying this out as a trial run for a quick roast dinner, for kids to make for themselves. And it kind of failed, mainly because I started removing the film prior to reading the instructions. Not sure if this is the reason the potatoes wasn't crispy which is unheard of in the air fryer. And the taste was bog standard. If I thought it was such a palaver, knew the kids would have none of it. So off my list for a repeat buy.

I've tried a few of this range of ready meals while they've been on offer, this is the first one that's been genuinely disappointing.You get one 1 sausage in a blanket. It's quite nice but it's nothing to write home about. The chicken is probably the best part, tender with some scrunchy edges. The potato is pretty bland, and the overall flavour is just not quite there. Instead of the meat and gravy tasting of rich blended flavours, to me it's just quite basic gravy with the odd splurge of herbiness coming through.The Yorkshire is again... fine. It was a little too hard around the edges, and the base was very soggy - the latter is to be expected given the gravy, and I don't mind it but some people will find that very offputting. Not very flavoursome.Basically, overall it was vaguely disappointing and I wouldn't buy it again.

"Pigs in blankets" - read the description.Overall though, this was a very bland meal. We made the mistake of adding a side that actually had flavor (hickory smoke) and it instantly overpowered whatever herbs were in this dish.In comparison to other supermarket chains that claim superior taste to your normal mid-range product, this has massively decreased the likely hood that I'll purchase "the best" range from Morrisons again.

No quality checks obviously as these are usually delivered cracked, most of the filling is outside the yorkshire, zero gravy and a waste of gas/electricity in cooking them
