Anti-Slip Silicone Edge House Cats Dog No Spill Single Stainless Steel Food Bowl Red

I have been using these for quite some time now, and I am so happy with my purchase!! These (I bought two, one for each CAT) have a little curved lip around the edges to catch any food a messy eater makes. I actually don't use the bowls that come with it, I use Corelle saucers that match, and can be purchased online. They fit purrrfectly! Easy clean-up too, and the the rubbery material causes the bowls NOT to slide around when my cats are eating. I wouldn't be withOUT mine now!!

Too small

My small cat has an issue with tipping her water bowl over. I bought this hoping that the silicone would keep the bowl in place so that she could not tip it over. This bowl did not work at all. Within minutes of setting it on the floor it was flipped over and water got everywhere. The issue is that it is extremely light, there is no weight to it to keep it on the ground. The silicone does not act as a suction in any way (which I don't fault it for that because silicone in itself is not meant to suction). Also, the curved lips on the side that prevent water spills actually give here a surface to grab her paw under in order to flip it. As far as construction goes, it is a solid product, so if you are not using it for this purpose, I would recommend buying it. We are going to keep it around in case we get a small dog or something someday, just because it does seem like it would work well for a less bowl-tipping-aggressive pet.

Cat still scoots it around but at least the water (or most of it) stays in the rim. And so far he hasn't turned it upside down.

This is a great product for my very messy-eating kitty who eats only wet food due to a history of bladder crystals. Both the silicone surround and the metal bowl wash up very easily (tip: fill the metal bowl and soak it for a while to soften the hardened food remnants). I also like that the silicone is larger and catches more of the mess than the smaller two-bowl version that I purchased here.

my cat was able to get his claws under the steel bowl, so I replaced it with a heavy cereal bowl, which works much better.

So far my cat hasn't been able to knock it over like traditional dishes. It is kind of small. Suitable for one cat only. It does cling to hard surfaces quite well so he can't push it around.
