Im a picky customer and I seek out quality products. Buying something like this online without having a chance to see it in persona was a bit of a gamble but based on the positive reviews and the high price tag I placed my order. All I can say is that it completely exceeded my expectations. This is a heavy, solid, heirloom piece. Hinges solid. Lid closes right. The clasp is durable. I'm a happy camper. Got this for my niece who is a tea buff and she loved it. I actually bought a second one for myself. I feel bad for those other people on here who were unhappy with their purchase ... they must have somehow got a bad lot. But I (personally) would definitely order this item again. Not a paid endorsement, just some honest feedback from an Amazon shopper with a few extra minutes on hand.

It looks nice. I put the tea in, they fit nicely. I put it in the cabinet. Came back a couple hours later to have a cup of tea and the hinges came off the top of the box. Returned!

Box was nice, but lids hinges came right out of the box upon opening the first time. It was a gift, so it was embarrassing.

Nice, but inside construction cheap.One thing I don't like about amazon, can't touch it till you've bought it.

I'm very pleased with this tea box. It was a gift from my husband and it is a beautiful storage box for our teas as well as a nice display. The latch does not feel flimsy or cheep, all seams and stitching are in tact without error, the hinge works well, and overall it looks and feels of good quality. I'm excited to offer tea to friends and family! I will note that it works best with individually packaged tea bags. Perhaps there is a way to store the unwrapped tea bags, butni have not tried yet.

had this for a little over a month and the lid became unhinged and it's completely broken. Amazon won't return it now. Looked good, but horrible quality, also had a toxic smell that couldn't be good.

This leather team box looks great and is solid. You can feel how solid it is as it feel heavy and rugged. I just got it and family and friends could not stop complementing how good it looks. Definitely worth every cent.

Super fantastic box for more than just tea. The dividers are removable if desired.
