I’d recommend this size even for adults. We all had pulled quad muscles from kicking the bigger one two weeks later when we came back to play again. But get out there and play! Kickball is great for families with young kids— you can all play together and it can still be fairly competitive! Buy this ball to do it. Just be careful of chain link fences. We had one get punctured because it landed on the top of the fence where the chain link was fairly sharp. So— maybe buy 2 just in case!!

We loved this ball for the first 6 months, but now it has a tiny hole in it and won't hold air. I feel like a durable ball should last longer than 6 months, especially since we only play with it here and there and keep it inside when not playing kick ball. Super disappointed.

This ball is exactly what you want when you think "kick ball". You just have to be sure to not over inflate the ball and adhere to the recommendations, and you will be just fine. Anyone complaining about the durability of this ball clearly just over-inflated it.

I thought these would ship deflated but they were inflated in huge boxes - weird!These are exactly the red kick balls that I expected. I bought them for recess at an elementary school where they are being kicked around & holding up fine.

This is the classic playground kickball you grew up with. Tough and flexible. Perfect. The smaller size is good for younger kids (up to around 8 or 9 years old - after that, I'd go with the adult size).
