Leather Messenger Bag vintage satchel bag Crossbody Bags for Men and Women unisex office bag

I could not be happier with this leather crossbody bag for everyday use. I’ve been looking for a good, durable, leather bag like this for years, but they’re all either super masculine-looking, super bulky, or super expensive. This is actually high quality leather, esp. for the price—not the stuff that looks like leather but peels off to show it’s just some kind of fuzzy fake stuff. This feels like an old leather bag my grandfather had when I was a kid and had had for 40-something years by the time I came along. Also, I love the simple design of this bag, especially for work. It stands on it own instead of falling over and getting underfoot, and it fits my daily essentials for work (office job). As shown in one of the pictures included, I can fit my 11” iPad Pro (in it’s floppy case thing) and it’s charger, my keyboard case, phone charger, and various other little odds and ends for work in the pockets, and I still have plenty of room for my notebook/planner. I also bought a protective sleeve for my iPad from another company, thinking it would be best to use it while carrying it in this bag, but the inside has a heavy duty canvas lining and it’s so sturdy that I don’t even need it. Also, look at the awesome little hand-bound book keychain they included! Highly recommend and would 100% purchase again. UPDATE: Standing by my original review and recommendation. In fact, I just order another one in a larger size to accommodate a larger work laptop, but the original is still almost like new. Over a year later and the only sign of wear is a little bit of fraying on the canvas of the leather ring on the strap, but I honestly would’ve expected far worse from any other leather bag of this quality given the amount of physical- and weather-related abuse I’ve put this thing through. At this pace, I fully expect these to be lifelong bags and well worth far more than what they cost.

I wanted something to hold an iPad mini and a few accessories. This holds a 9th gen iPad with keyboard case, and a mini 6 with an oversized case on it perfectly. Pen loops in the divider for Apple Pencil, two zippered pockets, and the canvas lining was more than an afterthought. The body of the leather feels good and natural, and it smells of newly processed leather. The hardware feels quality. My (minimal) gripes with the bag are mainly to do with the straps used to secure the flap (thin and feel/look like cheap bonded leather), and the shoulder strap (weird 2 piece design, slightly better quality than the closure straps), and there should be a handle on top of the flap. Also, the zippers feel cheap. I think I can address my strap concerns with some leatherwork supplies I have laying around, but overall I’m impressed with this product as is and would buy again.

Surprisingly well made and real leather and canvas, been having quite the time w/ it recently. yeah, you should get one.

I hate purses. I hate the idea of spending tons of money on a bag that is a fashion statement. Don't get me wrong; I don't begrudge anyone their likes or tastes nor do I think I am "right" about my personal likes. I'm just framing this to say that, as much as I dislike shopping for bags, this one was everything that I wanted. I'm that weird, quirky writer type (legitimately a writer) and when I saw this bag I wanted it right away. It is smooth leather with a roomy inside. My only regret is that my personal laptop won't fit inside, but my tablet and journals definitely fit. The bag feels classic and durable. The strap is strong and the rest of the bag has a hand-crafted quality to it. I honestly expect this to last me for years.

This messenger bag is beautiful!! It is very well made, it has a canvas liner that is glued so it’s not floppy. There are two compartments dividers, a pocket and a zippered pocket on the inside as well as places to store your pens. There is a zipper pocket on the back. The hardware is heavy duty. The leather is uniform in thickness, not too stiff not too soft. Very impressed with the workmanship!! Will buy again!!

It's a wonderful bag. Very well made and is built to last. Perfect amount of space for a book or to along with more for my other belongings. However the only negative thing I have to say is the smell is terrible. It smells horrible and I've been letting it air out. Besides the Awful smell the product is amazing

First and foremost: this is the first time I have EVER written a review. I’m going to warn you: it is RED. Personally, I’m just going to cope with it- but it is NOT that beautiful brown as advertised. I’m sure you’ve seen it before but this product REEKS of chemicals. Also, I needed a cute teensy lil messenger bag- it’s just a LITTLE bigger than you’d expect if you’re going for that. The buckles are little tricky but that’s more a me problem than the product.

I use it everyday! I like to be prepared, and being able to comfortably carry more useful stuff is quite handy!

Nice little bag. Since I like reading, it is useful for me have books available with me when I am out. It looks like real leather (I guess it is, if not it certainly feels like it). It is handmade with all its imperfections. The buckle is real (i.e. buckle is not for look with button underneath). This means, it takes time to open/close the bag. But this is fine to me. And if the strap is wider it would be ideal. There are two extra compartment inside with zipper. Thus it is safe to store wallet, smartphone,....One final note, it was delivered in cheap transparent plastic bag. It would be better in thicker and opaque plastic bag.

This satchel fits my 2 iPads and headphones, a book, and all my tools to charge, pens and gadgets. Plenty of room. The only thing I don’t like is the strap. Good quality but it buckets exactly where it sits on the shoulder. That's not gonna be comfortable over time. it would’ve been better if the strap was down near the bag. Or if a pad that the strap could fit in could’ve been supplied. I’d still buy it again though it’s just so classy and well constructed

Honestly, not what I expected. The colour is more burgundy/maroon than the photo implies. The material is stiff, and feels like pleather. The cut is pretty shoddy. Quite disappointed with it
