Which is a Psycho Love Comedy. Mostly all of the characters are psychotic ...
This was my first light novel, and being one who doesn't really care to read words on paper, I couldn't put it down. As stated on the cover of the novel, you can basically get an idea of what you are in for. Which is a Psycho Love Comedy. Mostly all of the characters are psychotic in their own right. However, thay all do share a common love in something as only "highschool" students at this "Academy" can. And there's a bit of comedy to keep things lively. All in all it has a good storyline and was to difficult to read. There where a few words I had to check for pronunciation and It does contain some adult language. If you have a relatively good vocabulary and you like to use fancy words from time to time, as I do, then you will get a little extra out of this read. Ohh, and there are some wonderful scean illustrations that will ,at least it did for me, have you turning back to look at them as you read through the story. I would say with a good vocabulary and mature mindset i would say 15+. I am looking forward to reading vol. 2!

This is more an ecchi comedy than a love one... very psycho though
I’ve heard two sides on this vol: one says this is kinda tropey, but brutal in violence and too perverted, but kinda holds its own because of twists. Other said this is an underrated jewel. I can partially agree with both ideas. I find it really really good as a harem ecchi comedy. Good amount of ladies, cute enough, even if tropey. Ecchi situations are good and funny, there’s no romantic situations to call this a love comedy, really. And while it’s brutal in regards of what happens, this is way tame compared to, say, ‘goblin slayer’, in terms of gore and violence. There’s plenty of sexual innuendo although mostly verbal, and still tame compared to say, ‘A sister is all you need’. The thing of all chars being murderers and the twists indeed make this good, but i do think it’s more than just keeping it afloat. I found this book a very fun and really compelling read. Highly recommended if you like ecchi harems.

Great Mix Story
A thank you to the writer because I love this story so much. It is a great mix of exactly what it says a psycho love comedy. The story is well written out and leads the read great, and has plenty of up, down twists and turns. Plus it even has some great illustrations to go with it. I appreciate the fact that the story was able to keep me wanting more night after night that when I was nearing the end of book one I had to buy book two, and then near the end of that just bought the rest too. Overall I am very happy with my purchase, and hope that others will one day give this series a chance.

I couldn't put it down
I read this all night and i felt like i was watching an anime. Mysterious school. Class full of delinquents. A loli teacher. A cute red head. And a hot murderous gas masked girl named rinko. I actually stayed up reading this whole thing, and it was hard to put it down. i want to keep reading it, because it felt not just easy, but fun. the writing style made it all entertaining and free.

Buy it to laugh and buy it for fun, its worth it
Omg I love the premise of this book, wrongly accused, school of murders and just psychos, all the while trying to maintain your innocence while not trying to look weak. This light novel follows the MC perfectly with him trying to navigate this weird school of literal crazy people who are charged with actual crimes, there is no fluffy I didn't do it no they are crazy. From the beginning to the end I enjoyed reading this book it was one crazy event after another. You would laugh than worry than laugh again than truly see drama and wonder will he get out of it ok. Great book Loved it so much I got book 2 3 4 and enjoyed them as well.

Terrible novel and translation.
I've no idea what book the other reviewers here thought they read but this is a heaping trash pile. The premise is interesting enough, and the illustrator is great, but don't let that fool you, this is a terrible novel. And it's awful in both ways it could be awful for a translated work. The original script is poor, with characters that will have you in a perpetual wince with their words and actions, dumb scenarios derived from idiot plots (ie. scenarios that would be instantly fixed if the characters actually talked to each other and did the things you expect them to do, like rational people), and strange sharp turns toward sexually suggestive content (e.g. one moment the protagonist will be going on a mental rant about a murderous female classmate of his, and the very next sentence he's talking about the color of her panties in vivid detail). Then the translation is just as bad too, with some of the most awkward sentence structures and literal translations I've seen that put this more in line with a fan translation than a professional translation job. This is the first LN I try from Yen Press' line of light novels, and I'm honestly very weary about trying others. Even if it was priced at half of what it is now it wouldn't be a good purchase. I hate to be a debbie downer but calling this anything other than terrible is being deceitful. I've been pretty deep in anime culture for over a decade and I'm not really phased by the common tropes and things, so understand I'm not coming at this from a point of view of prudishness. It's just that bad.

Pretty interesting to read
Pretty interesting to read, and it's not your typical romance, the stereotypes are like every normal Japanese manga/anime/light/visual novels etc. But every girl and boy have some special features... *SPOILER* The clumsy cute girl with huge breasts has deadly clumsiness. And when I say deadly I mean it! She is the one on the cover page. Anyway, that novel is something that every RomCom light novel lover should be reading and that commentary is only on the 1st book so you should read all the books! I have already bought the second one and am searching time to read it! :P

Not your typical slice of life rom com
I don't usually read slice of life material and rom com even less so but once i saw the premise of this series, i couldn't help but at least give the sample a go and see where it went from there.I brought the full movel shortly after.Psycome (which took me 10 minutes to remember the title of and ended up having to scour my recommendations to find) initially begins with your male MC (as you do) waking up in a classroom but this isn't your typical slice of life set up oh no, this classroom is anything like the tranquil and familiar setting that fans of this genre know and love. There's graffiti on the walls, the funiture's are a mess and your classmates have a dangerous look about them. Yep, this isn't your typical slice of life story.Following on from this initial unusual beginning, we're slowly introduced more and more of this crazy setting where even the male MC isn't quite like your usual protoganist and his female interests even less so. It's this very premise that drew me in and kept me going until i felt compelled to finish the novel in one sitting just to see what would happen next. The characters are well fleshed out enough while having their own little quirks that helped to endear them that i found there wasn't a character ii could not find something to like about which helped significantly to sell the world and help keep the pace along. The humour did have me chuckling at points; there's quite a bit of slap stick involved, with a quite a few verbal jabs here and there so if you don't like banter too much or lots of talking then this novel might not tickle your fancy. There is quite a lot of action involved with a lot of description given to certain bloody scenes, while i didn't find it too disengaging, if you cannot stand your violence, you may have trouble getting through this novel.Overall, i quite like this novel, it does enough to feel familiar while including enough differences to feel more fresh than the myriad of other titles in this genre. I'm curious to see if the author is able to keep the rapid pace going and looking forward to what the sub sequent volumes will cover.

Very interesting Premise
The premise of the book was very enjoyable and the whole novel was entertaining though I feel I would have enjoyed it more had it been a serious story rather than a love comedy.Still I would recommend.Eri best girl
