Bandai Hobby - Yamato 2199 - Space Battle Ship Yamato2199 Mecha-Collection Yukikaze

These Bandai series kits are great with lots of detail in such a small scale. They’re easy to build but can be tricky to paint.My only complaint is this series isn’t to scale with the other Yamato ships but I understand that it would be too small to make and match all the ships scales.

I think this kit is very detailed and very easy to assemble. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It does have very small pieces, so NOT for younger kids. I wanted a quick, easy build, and I really like this version of the Isokaze class destroyer. It’s about 1/727 scale, based on an 11cm model and an 80m fictional spaceship. You should probably use a good pair of cutters to snip the pieces from the plastic trees. I cleaned the pieces just a tiny bit with a hobby knife. It’s really easy to paint the cleaned-up pieces BEFORE assembly. The pieces pretty much press into place without glue, but you may need a very tiny drop of liquid model glue here and there. FIVE STARS!
