The warming KY jelly is decent. It’s not hot or painful and didn’t cause any irritation, though it’s still worth using with care. The sensation was pleasant, but nothing too intense—don’t expect fiery heat. I’d buy it again. The thick texture is a plus since it doesn’t run.

This ky is thick like Vaseline oil and not watery. It is warm and stays warm and doesn’t sting when it gets warm.

Notice many recent reviews (since Nov 2025) saying it's too hot? Well that's about the time K-Y decided to completely reformulate this lube and those reviews are not exaggerating, in my opinion. I get this stuff fairly regularly recently, and have been using it on and off for many many years because it is (was) the best for me. My last purchase in November was so hot that my wife refuses to use it again, and I had to jump in the shower to wash it off (by the way the hot water made it significantly worse until it was completely removed with soap). The purchase before that was only a couple months beforehand and it was fine. I thought maybe it was a bad batch so I ordered it again, but got the same results. That's when I began to investigate and realized the formula completely changed. Old Formula: Glycerin, propylene glycol, maltodextrine, honey, water, methylparaben, sucralose. The glycerin and propylene glycol were the primary lubricants ad well as the cause for the mild warming sensation. New Formula: Dimethicone, sensate So it's no longer water-based and we don't even know what causes the warming sensation anymore. It's only generically listed as "sensate." I may not know what the sensate is in the new formula, but I know they used far too much of it. Honestly, why did they feel the need to completely change a proven and reliable product? It wasn't until I came here to warn you that I realized this listing does actually mention a new formula, but only subtly and certainly not in a way that repeat customers would notice.

If there were zero stars I would give it that. Same day I tried the Lovehoney warming which was brilliant.
