One Hundred 80 DegreesFarmhouse Animals Melamine "Paper" Plates, 9 Inch, Set of 4

I was looking to purchase 7"-9" inch melamine plates when i came across these farm animal plates. They are so cute I just had to get them despite the hefty price tag. They are well made and much thicker than I was expecting, which is a good thing. The graphics are well done and not blurred or off center; however, I will be handwashing these plates as I am uncertain how well the graphics would hold up over time from being run through the dishwasher. I highly recommend these unique plates! They arrived within the given time frame.Edit: I wanted to add a comment about another poster’s complaint of the chalky feeling and poor quality. Maybe they received a “dud” set, but I totally disagree with the poor quality statement, as I said above, these plates are thicker than my other melamine plates and have more heft to them compared to my other plates. Yes, they have a sort of “chalky” finish, but a better descriptor would be a matte finish, after all they are meant to mimic paper plates. IMO, the finish in no way detracts from the look or quality of the plates. We use these plates all the time. I ended up running them through the dishwasher and the plates still look like they are brand new. My only word of caution: I wouldn’t use sharp knives to cut up food, it could damage the surface. This happened to one of my other melamine plates (not this set), the knife scratched it all up when I was cutting up my salad.2nd Edit: I’ve had this set of plates for 16 months now. They still look as nice as the day we got them! We use them all the time and they always get run through the dishwasher and still look like new. Absolutely no fading of the graphics, no chips, cracks, nothing. I’ve even dropped them on occasion (we have vinyl plank flooring in the kitchen) and the plates have held up very well! If I had the room in the cupboard, I’d definitely get another set. I love these plates more than my vintage Fiestaware, lol!

Ok, I bought these on a whim, and am so glad I did! They are absolutely adorable and are holding up to daily use admirably. They really do look exactly like paper plates, and the farm animal images are adorable. Well worth the price!

I ordered 8 a few years ago and decided I loved them so much I got 4 more. Perfect size for lunches.

I would have liked the images to be a little less blurry (though they are not very blurry at all). Otherwise, great sturdy plates!
