These are sturdy, well regarded tanks...
These seem great, and this would have gotten 5 stars except that one arrived damaged. The packaging was fine, though it was really just thrown into a big box loose, the box was OK, and there were no apparent scratches or chips in the paint. Instead, it looks like the quality control guy at the factory was asleep at the switch. The damage was a bent collar around the valve assembly. I didn't want to take a chance that there was damage to the tank itself so I've exchanged and it's coming soon. I didn't notice this when I first removed from the packaging - only when I was loading into my truck to fill for the first time.

Best customer service you could want!
I ordered two identical 30 lb Flame King tanks. The first filled without issue, but I had to wait a couple of weeks before attempting to fill the second. Unfortunately, that tank turned out to be defective. I contacted Flame King and explained the problem, including the steps the filling company had taken. They offered several excellent suggestions to resolve the issue and even sent a replacement valve. However, due to DOT regulations, I was unable to find a local business willing to install it. I followed up with Flame King, and they promptly sent me a brand new replacement tank. Their customer service was outstanding — responsive, professional, and far beyond what I expected. I truly couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you, Flame King! — Jim Winger
