Great replacement part. Samsung Galaxy S4 active has screws which allows you to easily open up the phone and repair. The newer ones… you need a heat gun and some luck not to crack the screen to get it open. I hate Samsung & Apple. It's all a plot to get us to buy newer phones . I refuse to upgrade the nest for active till I absolutely have to. You all should too. Buy this replacement part and I don't think you'll be sorry.

I'm sure the part is great, but I didn't realize there were different options and it's the wrong one for my controller >.<I still managed to rig it up to get a connection but have no way of testing it because the battery pack is also dead after 2+ years of disuse. Oops. I'll just get a new controller.

My PS4 controller was not charging regardless of what was being used, I didn't have the charging station which utilizes the other port. Took my controller apart to problem solve what was going on and figured this little board was to blame. Took awhile for it to arrive but that's ok, I had another controller. Old one was easy to remove and the new one was easy to install. Ain't no way I was going spend another $60 for a controller.

DO NOT BUY!!!!If I could give this zero stars I would. As one person said the original ribbon does not fit in connector on the microchip. So I went and used the one provided and thought I had it all done and I plugged it into my PS4 to begin charging. Red light popped on and I thought I was golden. NOPE. Light went out and was not charging anymore. I then took it all back apart and checked things over and tried to make sure the ribbon was plugged into the connector right on the controller side and still nothing. So I took it apart one last time to check thing out, plugged it in to charge it again and the ribbon split down the middle and I noticed a burning smell.This product is not worth your time. DO NOT BUY THIS. Again, it does not fit into the controller like the original chip. If you try to make it fit you have to end up modding the controller and then it still doesn't even work.Best bet, just go buy a new one or some back up batteries and recharge the batteries via a PS3 controller. I did that while waiting this product. Only good thing I can take away from this is that I only spent $5

It works but there is no center hole for the screw to hold the board down. So now it's free floating. Doesn't hurt anything unless you want to plug it in to charge the remote.

Product worked but the connecting wire did not. The wire used to connect the base of controller to the back plate wasn't working. Im not sure why but I used the original manufacturing wire and it worked fine.

fixed charging issue with ps4 controller; not much to say besides it was pretty easy install but takes some steady hands and a few minutes.

Cable was non functional. Unit was misrepresented, as it is not the same part used in the ps4 controller. The board is too large, there is no hole in the board to screw/anchor the board to the controller like the manufacturer's board.
