I got this to connect my tripod head to a 1/4" on my camera bottom. It does the job perfectly fine.Made of metal and can be trusted with expensive camera on the top. Good product I had tested both of them ,fits perfectly threading alings perfectly no rust. But hear is the thing I bought them for Rs.166 (may be more if you are buying just them i.e. shipping charges), now I'm not a machinist but Rs.83 per piece seems over priced to me, still if you need them they are the cheaper ones compared to the others on the site. So do as you wish

while purchasing these things, I thought these are so costly, after receiving I noticed that the quality of these screws are incredible. We can completely trust these units with out any doubt. Because we may use very expensive cameras for our work. But there is no worry about this screws, this will give their best support, the quality give confidence to us, to relay on them blindly.

If you know what they are and why they are used, they yes, you can go a head and buy them, they are of good quality. I think they are bit overpriced for more than 200 rupees.
