6 in 1 Raptor Response Emergency Shears, Multitool Plier Shears, Tactical Folding Pliers with Strap Cutter and Glass Breaker

For once something that feels really well made. It's a third of the price of the Leatherman version, but it still feels sturdily built. I bought it for my boat mostly for cutting ropes. I've so far tried it on ropes up to 12mm and it cuts through them like a hot knife through butter. I am very pleased especially given the price. They are made from 420 grade stainless steel so they don't have as much corrosion protection on a boat as 316, but they are much harder so should last longer and the blades hold their edge better. The ring cutter I haven't tried but it looks vicious and I have no doubt it would be easy to cut a ring using it. The strap cutter is also very sharp and cuts through larger sized cable ties easily. I will grind the glass breaker off as I have no need for it and if the tool is in a pocket it could rip clothing or even damage skin.I would love to have seen the strap cutter with a lock, but at this price point I don't see it as a negative. All in all I am very pleased indeed with this buy.Update: used these a lot over the past few weeks and they are nothing less than excellent.

These scissors are every bit as good as the leather man’s. They are a copy of the original but having had a pair from leatherman I have to say I cannot tell the difference. I work in operating theatres and need to cut various items. These cut all type of materials either fabric,paper,cardboard, plaster casts and scotchcast. They have a ring cutter on them and an attachment for breaking windows. They also have an attachment for seatbelt/strap and fabric, so good for all within the emergency services. Size wise I am a size 8 glove and these fit in the hand perfectly. They come in various colours and have a belt case for storage. I left mine as theatre blues look daft with a belt 😂😂. Raptors by leatherman are around £100 plus. Theses are amazing value for Money , robust and very sharp. I recommended these to some of my colleagues. We now all have them and it’s customary to make the transformer noise when opening them.

Had a pair of leatherman raptors and lost them at a job! Was absolutely gutted!! These‘‘raptors’ are very good copies, I don’t think they’re as heavy and the folding mechanism seems a little sloppy in comparison but they seem to do the job and are 1/4 of the price of the originals. Might keep you updated, if i don’t lose them at another job….A year on and I have a set with my fire kit and a set with my ambulance kit. The manage to cut motorcycle leathers very well. Cut through clothing very well and still seem sharp. I still find the folding mechanism a bit sloppy in comparison with genuine leatherman raptors but for the price it can be forgiven. And unlike the leathrmans, cheap enough to loose at a job without too much hardship. 8/10.

Very sturdy. What I imagine the more expensive branded shears would be like. Value for one as it has plenty of functions.My only gripe is that the strap cutter being swiveled out causes a piece of the plastic to move off the main body of the shears. Doesn't effect use but could snap off. Only thing to suggest a lesser quality to that of top brand names.

So identical to the more expensive branded version, only difference as far as I can tell is the fact the seat belt/ligature cutter doesn't lock in to place.

If you don’t want to pay 3 times the amount for the real deal, these are a great alternative.I have not yet used these in anger so I don’t know the overall durability but, I have put them through it’s paces opening and closing. So far all good.The scissors are sharp and the seatbelt cutter works how it should. The comfort of the plastic handles are not very comfortable and I’m unsure of its durability.Overall a great alternative to the more expensive make and if you require a tool that folds away into a pocket then these are great at doing that.

These are a cheap copy of the leather man shears, I bought them to replace a pair that I lost. They do the job well and seem to be well made, if a little lighter than the leather man versions
