1. Packaging. The Xoss G which is as smaller than a credit card, came in a reusable plastic package, packed very well in a recyclable Amazon packaging. Lest amount of plastic waste!2. Accessories. Apart from the Xoss G, the package contains two user manual booklets, charging cable, two rubber O rings and a female bracket with a rubber housing which can be fixed to your bike.3. Setting Up. Charge the Xoss out of the box. Full charge takes about 60 mins. Once charged, switch it on, Download the Xoss app on your phone and sync the phone to your Xoss. Switch the Bluetooth on for this to succeed. The user manual explains this in a easy-to-understand manner with pictures also. It syncs to Strava and Training Peaks.4. First Use. The GPS takes about a min or two to establish connection. The Xoss will connect to GPS only in the outdoors. Don't expect any GPS connectivity inside your home! Press the left record button and ride away. It's as easy as that. Once your ride is done, long press the left button to stop recording. Data is synced to Strava and your app automatically once it connects to your phone on Bluetooth. The best part is you don't have to carry your phone during your ride (except to listen to music).5. Comes with a one yr warranty! It's waterproof, splash proof etc.Overall, a superb VFM bike computer at such a low price! Go for it!!

The product is awesome, looks quite premium. Installed the app and got a firmware update. Installed the update and began using it. Went on a small ride, the data captured seems to be quite accurate. GPS, Syncing data on the XOSS app for checking the ride details and activity sharing on Strava app etc makes this computer one of the best budget deals. Battery they claim lasts for 25 hours, only that claim I have to verify, apart from that every other aspect works as advertised.

I bought it as I wanted to have some alternate to my mobile app. To view mobile app I need to fix my mobile on the handle bar. In India it is unsafe to show your mobile in public particularly when you are roaming in remote places. This one is small and is hardly noticeable to someone else. I liked its mount which is very compact and minimum design. Built quality of product is also good. It locks into GPS within two minutes and I have found the GPS to be accurate than my mobile. About battery, I am using it two hours for four days and till now not even one bar is down. Syncing with XOSS is quick. I found the route map to be very useful land accurate. Overall very good product till now. Let me use it for one month and then I will give update here.

I bought XOSS G from Amazon.This is the best budget cycle computer with GPS. Earlier I was using my mobile for cycling but I tried XOSS today and it worked great. The device was easy to install on my bike and the information of distance traveled and speed were fairly accurate. I also updated the firmware using XOSS app without any problem. One can sync XOSS device with the app using Bluetooth. The app also gives lots of information along with 3d view of your ride.

I hope Xoss will be seeing this message.I initially rated 5 star but I'm changing the rating to 1 star because the application system has changed to worse where I'm unable to sync my Strava with the app so it's a waste. It states that it connects strava but it gets disconnected and never connects again. Really disappointed. Xoss should stop selling the GPS devises stating connection with strava. It is not and don't waste your money in it.

The first has to be done is to charge the device to full and establish connection with your smartphone through XOSS app and update the firmware. Before starting the ride ensure the GPS is stable. I found difficulty in obtaining GPS signal in the parking area but once moved out GPS connection established and remained stable. The recording was easy and auto pause is accurately working. If you are looking for a cycle computer that fits in the budget , go for it.

Pros: Easy to use. Easy to fix on bike. No additional sensors needed on the wheel. Easy to read. Has just the basic readings, i.e., speed, distance, lifetime distance. Display doesn't confuse with too many readings. Good price.Cons: I could connect to the Xoss app and to Strava but am yet to see my route on the cool 3D map. Am working on this issue, but I don't mind if it remains unsolved.Edited: Eighteen months after purchase, it simply refuses to charge. It's now a piece of junk. I'm downgrading my review to three stars.Verdict: If you're looking for a decent, entry-level, GPS bike computer, with no frills, easy to jump in and start enjoying, then go for this one.

Simple to use product with good accuracy and basic features required for cycling. Integration to XOSS app and Strava was seamless. Installation was simple and clean instructions given in the manual which are easy to follow. Good value for money.
