This is not an everyday's helper. The weight and shape are not convenient for anything but fish and meat slicing only. Maybe, some hard vegetables. I recommend to western people to watch YouTube "Deba knife" instructions first. The knife arrived sharpened. However, I had to improve the edge by polishing with 600-1000-3000 grit progression.
