UK PAYPAL USERS PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
I'm sure this is a great product when it works properly, but be warned.....THIS PRODUCT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH PAYPAL UK. I know you can print labels through Royal Mail Click & Drop, and it works through PayPal USA with USPS labels, but PayPal UK DOES NOT give customers the chance to change their printer type in business settings. Even if you set paper size to 6"x 4" it will still only print as if the paper size is A4. I don't know why PayPal and Dymo haven't come up with some sort of agreement. It's absolute madness! The ONLY work around using PayPal UK to print labels directly is use 6" x 4" as your paper size, and then zoom 175% to fill the label. However, this reduces the quality of the label and may lead to problems when using barcodes for tracked deliveries etc. I am in the process of emialing Dymo UK to see if there is a work around, but if not, I will be returning this product. I'm gutted as it seemed liked a great solution to my printing problems, as I am currently printing labels on A4 and throwing 2 out of every 4 labels in the bin due to not being able to select which side of the A4 sheet to print on.

Great thermal printer. Perfect for ebay and Royal Mail click and drop. Best used with the drivers only for printing pre paid shipping labels.Royal Mail's free labels are NOT compatible with this. The BETCKEY DY-S0904980 ones they have on here are a low cost alternative the the DYMO labels and they are just as good. If you are considering buying this printer and you are not in a hurry, save it for later in your basket as the price goes up and down all the time. DY-S0904980

Definitely worth the money!
The mrs bought this for our business and I was definitely a little shocked at the price tag when she told me about it HOWEVER...This is a really great printer & It was definitely worth the investment. We use this for royal mail click and drop and it prints all the labels in absolutely no time. It doesn't require ink so is extremely cheap to run (just gotta buy the labels to print on) & it's so easy that even I can use it.Installation was quick and simple. For the Mrs, she just plugged it in and it downloaded drivers automatically. For me, I just googled dymo drivers and downloaded them in minutes. The quality of the printing is outstanding. We mainly use it for postage labels but you CAN use it for whatever you want in black and white. You can print an a4 picture of a cat onto a label if you really want to (we have) for the kids to stick around the house. Of course, it downsizes to the label size so don't expect it to actually print I'm a4.Overall it's a pretty versatile machine & the quality has exceeded my expectations. We use it daily and its never had an issue (touch wood). It doesn't print in colour & It only prints in label size which is something like 6x4inches. It does what it's made for and more so would highly recommend!

Love it!!
As someone who sends out a lot of parcels each week this is an amazing time saver. I was so sick of waiting for labels to print on my ink jet, cutting them out, paper jams, wasting paper, using those sticky document envelopes that inevitably stick to everything except the parcel, not to mention purchasing inks! This is tiny in comparison to my printer, so a massive space saver! It’s also incredibly easy to use and quick to set up. You can download the software online, then install it, plug in the printer and you’re all set up.If you’re wanting to print 4x6” labels, like Royal Mail or DPD etc, it’s ideal! When your print set up comes up on the pc, you simply choose the Dymo from the list of printers and then choose your page size. There’s a lot to choose from but scroll down to near the bottom if you’re looking for the 4x6” size.Labels print very quickly. To save on money I ordered some non Dymo compatiable labels. Search “printing pleasure 4xl” here on amazon and you’ll find 1000+ labels for £28 and they work perfectly.Couldn’t recommend it more. Saves so much time and fiddling about!

Perfect for running your eBay empire, although possibly overpriced
Purchased this to be able to churn out 6x4 shipping labels after buying postage online - so much neater and quicker than either writing on the packaging with a sharpie or cutting A4 sheets down to size and trying to tape then on. Once you get into a system it is so quick and easy to churn stuff out and send it off. The supplied software seems fine but to be honest I don't use it - once everything was set up right I just print straight from the postal supplier.Top Tip: if you are using a Mac and trying to print 6x4 straight from the web then the default margins can play absolute havoc. You need to go in to print settings and zero then before saving it off as a custom print size. Once you've done that then it really is one click from PayPal.Only slight complaint is the high cost of the unit. I have one of the smaller Dymo machines that was approx a quarter of the cost of this one. Although it should be more expensive (larger parts, etc) it doesn't feel that the difference should be so big.
