A Great Film at a Great Price
I've used both ISO 400 and ISO 100. There are a lot of on-line negative comments about some of the other Ultrafine films, especially ISO 100, cases in which the film backing off printed onto the neg. surface. This is not at all the case with this film in either ISO 100 or 400. Grain structure is fine with a lot of shadow detail. I hope this film is available for a goodly long time. It's made in the EU. Various folks have speculated who the manufacturer is. Perhaps Ilford. Perhaps Agfa. What's really important: how the film performs. Prints from my first rolls reveal rich and well-graded blacks and mid-tones, sharp detail and shadow detail.

Pleasantly surprised
Shooting B&W film used to be the cheap way of shooting film, but as digital takes over, getting 120 B&W film at a good price is a challenge. I tried this Sampler, and shot one roll of 400 ISO and developed it with Ilford ID-11 to develop it. I was very happy with the results. It is ultrafine grain with very good shadow detail. I am shooting a 100 ISO and may update this review if it is not as good.

It’s Tri-Xavier
The faster 400 ISO film works just like Tri-X in that it can be pushed to 1600 or pulled to 200 using D-76 1:1. Good tonal values and shadow detail. And at a bargain price. I think. I’ll order more.

I like it a lot. I dont think HP5 is worth the extra money
I'm still new to medium format, but I really like this film, I even bought the 35mm bulk stuff to load and it's just as good!! I mostly do a stand development and this film seems to like it.

Incredible detail.
A fine grain film. I usually use Plus X, but this film has better clarity. The detail is great. Incredibly sharp. Especially using D-76 1:1 ratio.

Hard to load
It might be that I'm a neophyte with this old camera but I had trouble loading the film. I fear I ruined the first roll but that's my fault. I will update this when I get the film developed.

Five Stars
Good price and IU developed it in D-76 and it was fine.

Great for the price
Great for the price. Good contrast, very fine grain (with the 100 speed), dries flat. Have purchased this film several times. I feel comfortable shooting it in place of more expensive film.
