Cajun Caliente Jalapeno Powder

An awesome addition to my spice collection! I wish I had discovered Cajun Caliente Jalapeno Powder long before now. It tastes authentic! If you appreciate Jalapino Chili Peppers and like to cook with them, this is an excellent substitute if you are cooking and all of a sudden realize you don't have any fresh Jalapinos in your refrigerator. I used this seasoning in refried beans and also in Spanish rice and loved it. I know I will enjoy adding it to many other dishes in the future. Cajun Caliente Jalapeno Powder will definitely be a staple in my kitchen from now on.

Not as spicy as 90,000 K heat cayenne and ghost chilli pepper. On scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the spiciest, it is 6 and heat unit is around 60,000 K heat. Other hot pepper irritates mynGI, but this one does not cause me GERD and GI irritation.

I live abroad and this powder is awesome. I add it to salsas, soups, guacamole. It has a great taste and heat.

I use this powder in recipes that call for fresh jalapenos when I dont have any. Any tex/mex recipe calling for cumin and coriander, I throw a little of this in also.

I love heat and this Jalepeno powder adds that heat to my food that I couldn't get from any other spice that I had tried. I love it and will definitely keep it in stock

not as "hot" as other jalapeño powder I have bought in past. Was add on deal so ok for what I paid.
