Having hunted for my keys for around an hour, I saw this available on Prime Day for a discount and thought that will save me some time.Alexa Find My House Keys...Alexa's Reply "I'm sorry this is not what you want to hear, I cannot find your keys your phones Bluetooth is either off or the device is out of range", technology meh! this was when testing, and the keys were in the same room.The app on the phone also says that it cannot find them and then they spring into life on the screen and if you have any backed up notifications off your tiles will sound. I suspect that this is a Bluetooth Low Energy thing.The concept is a really good one, I suppose its a trade off between rinsing the phones battery or constantly having to replace the tile batteries. I was testing this with my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra.I cannot comment on battery life but at the moment, things have gotten off to bit of a poor start.Battery Life Edit:They don't last long, or they had been on the shelf a while. I've replaced them which kind of cured thepart intermittant sorry I can't find but not totally cured, however complaining when you have a free trial of the premium service will get Tile to send you new CR2032 batteries for free.Found they have a metal edge which I thought was plastic so that's a good design bonus.

The slim tile put in my wallet is always sounding the alarm to my iPhone, as the wallet is under pressure in my jacket pocket or jeans pocket. The sliding battery door on the key fob tile is jammed. The tile software App is a nightmare to keep running in the background on my iPhone, as it interferes with other windows, and is a constant nuisance, as it must be kept open for the thing to work, and it's easy to close the App by accident, rendering the tile inoperative. I've given up on it.

I bought my first Tile years ago for my car keys as they were forever in the place I thought I’d left them at home. I bought this new tile with the bonus of having the slim line card that came with it as I am always looking for my wallet too! Delivered quickly and they are really easy to set up. The only thing that happens which lets it down slightly is that it will ping your phone a message occasionally to say you’ve left home without your keys which is not the case. Great value for money.

I wish I had discovered these sooner!I'm forever loosing my wallet/keys, especially now it can be days between leaving the house!Now I can easily find them without that 10 minutes of panic! 😂I've set up the app on both my iOS and Android devices it was a little quicker on iOS but both apps are great in my opinion.There are some premium features locked behind a paywall however these are nice-to-haves and I don't feel pressured into buying them.Overall very happy with the purchase!

When I try to locate my key fob using my phone, I get it to ring half of the times. Hence the 3 stars.Even if it's in the same room it struggles to connect to the tile at times. Even after I find the tile, it can't connect to the phone which is right next to it.Initially felt that it could be due to battery optimization settings but it's not helping even when I changed settings. I use an android phone - one plus 6t.
