Replacement HD for dvr
Replaced a Swann 5880 dvr 5 years old unit and now it works great, just like it used to.booted right up and its faster!

I was a bit worried about the noise but other than start up its pretty quiet (my pc fans are louder), good price when I got it too, hopefully they dont spike in price.

Great Quality
Another quality WD drive. I have almost always purchased only WD drives over the years. I think they are the best HDD's, SSD's, and M.2 NVMe drives money can buy. They're cheaper than Samsung, the quality is just as good (if not better), and WD offers the best warranties. Speeds of HDD's have gotten better over the years. This WD Blue can top out at around 250 MB/s read and write times, and it has 256 MB of cache which is fantastic for an HDD. I have it installed in a Sabrent USB enclosure and I am currently using it as an OS backup drive and I've not had any issues using it so far. I plan to buy another one for backing up other important files that I cannot afford to lose.

This was shipped out the same day, and arrived in two business days without any expedited costs or having Prime! One, of course, needs to partition and format the drive for operation, but that is usual for any drive. This item appears to be as fast as any other drive out there including SSD's. Since this is used as data backup drive (one can never have enough backup), this should accomplish that goal. Drives like this usually last for years so hopefully this will eclipse any previous life duration's.

Compré este disco de WD para sustituir otro de menor capacidad en mi Pc y usarlo como almacén de fotos y archivos personales. Por su precio y capacidad era lo mejor que podía conseguir. Como disco de arranque tengo un SSD de WD también así que no necesitaba un SSD. Es de 2Tb de capacidad 7200rpm y cache de 256Mb lo que le da una velocidad muy interesante a pesar de ser un disco mecánico, además muy silencioso y velocidad Sata 3 6Gs/s. Tras unos meses funcionando correctamente me dió problemas al arrancar (fallaba el "spin on") y le costaba arrancar. Otras veces arrancaba bien, pero bien en reposo, bien en uso daba el error aleatoriamente. Me puse en contacto con el vendedor (B2M Zone) y rapidamente se pusieron en contacto conmigo. En unos días me sustituyeron el disco por otro completamente nuevo sin poner ninguna pega. Totalmente satisfecho con la atención. Una vez cambiado el disco, ha funcionado sin problema. Espero que haya sido mala suerte y me ha tocado uno con defecto de fabricación. Es raro porque llevo muchos años (mas de 20) utilizando discos de esta marca y salvo uno (por años de uso y bastante intensivo) no me han dado problemas. Si tienes la suerte (como yo) de que esté en garantía pides el cambio. Los datos es otro cantar...

Es un buen producto por su funcionalidad. Mucho se dice del ruido, a mi experiencia personal, en si los discos duros hacen algunos ruidos comunes de lectura, escritura, etc. Este en particular se mantiene en un nivel común medio/bajo, y en 3 meses de uso, no ha generado más ruido del regular. Por funcionalidad esta muy bien, es lo que se espera en velocidades de un disco duro, yo tengo la versión de 7200rpm y no hay ninguna queja. En cuanto a relación calidad precio, es un buen producto.

This is a genuine product with an excellent Performance. The key is that you must identify a Seller with a high rating above 90 % or more. The reason is that there are many individuals who are selling used drives with 'New' labels and fake packaging. In some cases Amazon will not return your product and then you are stuck. Once you have identified a genuine seller, you have a genuine product. ✨️
