Great performance and great ingredients. The only reason this got 3 out of 5 is the scent. Oak moss and Cedar sounded great but to me it is a little too musky and attacks my nostrils. This is subjective of course as I am sure others would love the scent and I do not fault the product in anyway it is my fault for blind buying a scent that is foreign to me. It happens. All in all I would buy this again but in another scent.

I got this product for a friends and he loves it so far. It really helps your beard stay healthy, look healthy, and feel great. I Even am going to use it for myself now. It smells pretty natural, which is fine because you know your not putting any nasty chemicals in your beard and skin. Overall great product and well run business.

The smell of Cedarmoss alone is enough to put some hair on your chest, and make you feel like a lumberjack ready to grab life by the d***. Great smell, doesn't stay greasy and keeps your beard/face hydrated. Wish there were more scents though. All and all you can't go wrong with this product.

Exactly what I ordered and came in record time. Has a great, subtle but manly smell and puts good control into what would otherwise be an out of control beard.

I got this beard oil for my boyfriend who has been growing a beard for the last 6 months to a year. His facial hair is coarse and thick - almost wiry - and a bit on the unruly side. He isn't big into 'hair care' products and has done his best to avoid my suggestions about putting something in his beard to make it more manageable. He has had no skin irritation or issues with it and he has actually said he really like how it feels on his skin. This is for Batch No 2, Oakmoss and Cedar. Since it appears my husband's beard is not going anywhere, the deal is it has to be periodically professionally groomed, and kept up otherwise. This is his third bottle of beard oil, and this one will do the job in terms of keeping it smelling good, tamed, and soft between trims. The Oakmoss and Cedar is a nice, as expected outdoorsy, natural, smell, without being too powerful or headache inducing. Even after a few hours, the scent is still there, in a pleasant, mild, wafting kind of way vs why is that lady wearing so much Justin Beiber perfume in the subway kind of way. The consistency is nice, a few drops into the hand, then he rubs them together and works it into the beard.The bottle is nice, the standard dropper - I have not seen other ways of packaging beard oil. And, I'm ok with the brown paper label, it absorbs extra drips well in general and keeps the oil off your dresser or sink.. The plastic packaging around the dropper took scissors to remove and would recommend the Old Hoss folks either not use it at all, or get the kind with perforation. The box it came in was nice, and good for a gift. although it seems like a different graphic designer helped with that.Overall, a nice beard oil with a good, masculine but mild scent - I received this at a discount in exchange for an honest review.

Ok, first off, I got a discount for trying this out. The smell is fantastic! Very cedarific. The oils is good quality, doesn't sour, and looks great. Did I mention the scent? It's still going strong after five hours, a cup of coffe, and a kolache! Highly recommended

The images on the amazon page are reversed, just a heads up. When you have the No.3 Neroli, Rose, & Lavender "color" selected, the No. 2 Oakmoss and Cedar image is displayed. I had both tabs open and was reading about the products and thought I chose to buy the Oakmoss and Cedar when I glanced at the image but was disappointed when it arrived and was lavender and rose. I was confused about how I made the error of buying the wrong scent until I noticed the images are swapped. I thought I would try it anyways, since amazon's return shipping is almost half the cost of the product. The product itself is good. Makes the beard less itchy and more healthy feeling, however, I can't adapt to the lavender scent. I will try the oakmoss and cedar when I use this up and have high hopes that it will make all my dreams come true.
