Council of Verona: Corruption

Nice expansion to a fun game. Get it.

This expansion is just as enhancing as Poison was for Council of Verona. While the initial game was some minor bluffing and changing outcomes, Poison made the game really fascinating. This expansion does the same thing. You have an additional "corruption" card that you can play on the bottom of one of the nobles - either face up (where everyone knows its effect) or face down (allowing you to bluff any end-game impact). Similar to poison, because there is the element of not knowing how much your card impacts the list of nobles, you add a new layer of strategy and bluffing.While not as critical to the game as poison (I won't play without that expansion, and it is now included in every version of the game with the 2nd edition), it is a great expansion for those who enjoy Council of Verona.
