Don't last long
At first they were really nice. After a short while they became very soft. Upon inspection the seals inside the caps were all shredded. They look great but the stock big bore are ultimately better.

They are a a little shorter and softer then stock servo on xbe rc car

meh
quicker rebound than the big bores, but overall poor quality seals, and not stiff enough, even with 80 weight oil. Ill try replacing the seals if I can find them because the build is pretty quality. But the springs are weak and the seals blew out almost immediately.

Redcat Blackout xte pro
At first I wasn't so sure about these shocks. They are actually excellent. They respond much quicker than the stock ones, your able to get back to full stretch much quicker and faster. They don't have as big of a compression unlike the stock ones but this doesn't hurt at all. I'm guessing because the stock shocks have a cone shape at the adjusting thead compare to a flat end. I order these along with the m3 locknut 02191p to attach them to my vehicle sense these shocks only come with the screws. Over all, I'm really happy with these shocks and I will end up ordering another pair for my second vehicle.

Broke
Thought it would be worth buying but one has already broke.

A must upgrade
The stock spring cups on the car are plastic, it does not take much to break them. This is an easy and affordable upgrade to keep you racing or bashing much longer than the stock shocks.

Decent
These worked pretty well for awhile. One of mine is currently stuck in the compressed position with the metal cap jammed over the metal inner piece. The spring has extended over that cap so it is all screwed up. I might be able to fix it, but for now I just replaced it with the original plastic one.

Dont know if these are actually better than originals
I was suprised that these are not oil filled similar to the stock ones. So, yes they rebound and compress very fast - which is not optimal for a shock. This is essentially a spring... unless I missed something where you have to manually fill the shocks with fluid.

there is a problem with the shock when it bottoms ...
there is a problem with the shock when it bottoms out it will jam with the with the bottom cone and the inside body where the piston connection is made.
