Swanson Adrenal Glandular 350 Milligrams 60 Capsules

My nutritionist diagnosed me with adrenal exhaustion 6 years ago and put me on high amounts of b5 and b6 and other antioxidant vitamins. It was helpful but took many months at it and I still battled loosing fluid from my system easily. My blood pressure would stay around 80/60 or lower. Any time I added stress to my life the numbers would get close together. One time they became around 66/50, and I was having heart palpitations and exhaustion. Several months ago I went to a chiropractor, and he recommended taking adrenal gland. He recommended 4 a day for several months. He said to work up to that though. I started taking 1 adrenal gland tablet a day, then two and after a week or so I started seeing a difference (so that may be enough). At first I was really tired, but they say that is a natural part of the process. After being on it a couple of weeks I took my blood pressure and had a nice 100/60. My energy level became very good. Adrenal gland really works! I plan to keep this on hand for future times when my body is under physical or emotional stress. I also read that when you come off of it you will have a few days of being tired while your adrenal glands wake up to take back over. I was out of some for a while, and I think that may be true, but it's been well worth it.

Helps after lots of stress

Chronic stress can lead to adrenal fatigue (look it up), and this product really helps me to combat fatigue. I feel awake and alert, without all the caffeine from coffee or energy products. I haven't noticed any side-effects, unlike caffeine, which can leave you jittery, lead to a crash later, or - in my case - trigger a migraine. (Technically it is coming down after the caffeine that causes the migraine, not the caffeine itself.) Overall, I find it to be a positive energy boost, from a natural product. In my case it has done exactly what it said it would do. Thanks, Swanson for making a quality product I can count on!

I suffered a horrible pain in my lower back, we tough it was UTI's, STD's, kidney infection and not that far a go a yogi told me to check my adrenal glands which i did - i tried this product and since the first moment i felt me way better, the pain disappear, i'm so relaxed and in control of my emotions and boosted in energy, my levels of stress were out of control and now is all gone i highly recommend this product works wonders

I've long suspected that I've had some adrenal issues. I used to abuse stimulants like ephedrine to kick-start the energy and adrenaline process. Since then I've matured and decided to try the natural way. I started taking this supplement and overall felt pretty good. I did notice that when the bottle was empty and I stopped taking it my energy dropped. Could it have been something else....maybe. However, I ordered again, started taking it and my energy picked up. Just the experience of one person and its so hard to prove causality.

Not really noticing anything at all from this ... have taken triple dose to even see if it effects my adrenal exhaustion ... nothing.

I actually purchased this along with the Pituitary and Thyroid product. I have been experiencing the full array of issues: fatigue, bloating, insomnia, irregular periods, depression, and horrible mood swings. I waited to start them because I found a new doctor who was willing to check my hormone levels via saliva and I didn't want to mess up the test results. I found out I am suffering from adrenal fatigue and hormonal (menopause) issues--which can be directly linked to adrenal glands. After taking the first dose, I immediately(within an hour) felt warmer and my body temp. went up to 98.2--a high for me. The "brain-fog" seemed to go away and my thoughts seemed clearer. Over the past 3-4 days, I have lost SO MUCH fluid weight. Even my husband said that my face looks so different--not puffy and swollen. The only reason I am giving only 4 stars is because I haven't had enough time to see if the effects are long lasting. And the supplements do seem to make me a bit headachey and dehydrated. I was diagnosed with adrenal insufficiency several years ago, with symptoms of low immunity, low temperature, low blood pressure and more. I noticed after 1 month after starting this product that I wasn't so tired when I woke up in the morning. I was able to handle stress better, and felt better. After 6 months, I hadn't gotten a cold, unheard of! These are great for the price. Adrenal glandulars from other brands can get very pricey. I love that Swanson offers a lower price option, but has just as high quality ingredients as pricier brands. They are a decent size, easy to swallow. I will continue to reorder.

Spüre leider absolut keine Wirkung. Weiß nicht ob es an mir liegt oder ob meine Nebennieren zu schwach sind und nur auf Cortison reagieren. Habe schon mehrere Marken mit Nebennierenextrakt ausprobiert und leider noch nie etwas gespürt. Schade eigentlich weil der Preis hier echt im Vergleich super ist. Aber vielleicht hilft es ja jemand anderen.

After 1 capsule of this AND GABA I got sick in the stomach, near vomiting. That lastet one week. I don't know which of the two capsules was causing this. However, I did notice a lasting calming effect. In any case, I recommend starting with a very low dose depending on your condition.
