Perfect for lunchboxes.
These are the best reusable water bottles I've seen for packing in my kids' lunch boxes. I used to buy 12 oz size bottled waters, but with three kids that meant I was spending about $20 a month on water for their lunches. All of the resuable bottles in stores around here were either too big, too babyish, not leak proof, or had excessive features we didn't need, like filters or insulation. I didn't want to buy pricey water bottles they'd lose at school. When I saw this set, it looked perfect so I decided to give it a try. My kids are 16 (girl), 12 (boy) and 10 (boy). The boys were initially not thrilled at the cuteness of these water bottles. My youngest, in particular, felt he'd be teased at lunch. His worries were unfounded -- no one has paid any attention to the water bottles and now the boys use them without complaints. I don't use these just for water. My daughter takes a breakfast "shake" to school with her each morning but didn't like how our other travel mugs or reusable bottles would make a mess in her backpack even after she'd finished the shake. Now she uses one of these bottles. They're the perfect size for the shake she drinks and the cap doesn't let the last couple of drops leak into her bag. These bottles are easy to rinse clean and come with a handy storage rack. I love that we are creating less waste and spending less money. Even if we have to replace them eventually or buy new caps, we'll still be spending (and throwing away) less. If this company comes out with a set in all solid colors, something neutral for older kids, I'll happily buy a second set!

Great, cute water bottles with a couple of minor details to note
So I got these bottles because it seems these days that every kid is allowed to bring drinks into their classroom...crazy, I just had to use the water fountain at recess...but I digress. Mostly I really like these bottles, they are easy to wash in the dishwasher and super cute. There are also many different designs and sizes and they can all share lids. They also have no annoying straws or valves to try and clean. Some info that is not obvious before buying: the lids are not attached in any way, which means they can be lost...easily. These bottles are also made of hard plastic (they are NOT squishy at all) and I was a bit surprised by this. I imagine they might crack if dropped when full (especially the larger size), but so far ours are holding up OK. Due to the type of plastic, I can also see the designs wearing off more easily than the softer bottles. Replacement lids and sports lids are expensive too, bummer. Lastly, I find the refrigerator tray pretty useless, it's easier just to stick these where they fit. I still like these bottles for their ease of cleaning and they look really nice. I saw these on a flash sale site for under ten dollars today, so I am a bit bummed that I paid nearly twice that on Amazon plus they had the sports lids for less than five bucks, so shop around before committing!

Good for adults too!
I'm a bit embarrassed that I got these for myself (an adult) but they are exactly what I was looking for. I bring my lunch to work and need a little container for my drink. I didn't want one with a straw or with the caps that are attached to the lid (they always seem to get in my face when I'm drinking). This is the perfect sized opening to drink from without spilling (even for kids) and the cap is very easy to remove (does not leak at all). The only concern would be if you're hand washing, since the opening is rather small and I'm not sure what you'd be able to get inside to clean. They work well in the dishwasher but probably the easiest way to clean is just add a drop or two of dishwashing detergent and fill about 1/3 full with water and shake it around a bit. Should get as clean as it would in a dishwasher. I can't find any negatives for these at all. A great little container for drinks, perfect for kids or adults!

They're cute and do their job, but the lids are getting lost.
After crunching the numbers, with 2 kids who go to school 3 days a week, this would pay itself off in 12 weeks. We made it to mid January so far, but we're down to 3 bottles and 2 lids remaining. 3 lids were lost and 2 bottles cracked. The bottles themselves are fine. Cute, perfect size, stands up to most drops. (not all) Also, if you fill it too full and then put it in the top shelf of the fridge where it accidentally freezes.. cracks form from the water expanding too much, so always leave room if it's going in the fridge for a long time. Long story short - they did pay themselves off and we MIGHT make it to the end of the school year (but probably not). I won't re-buy, it's too much hassle to babysit bottle lids. I'd rathe just buy the little water bottles and eat the extra $20/school year.

Hidden Gem [Kaleidoscope 10 oz]
I was looking for an insulated water bottle with a straw, and boy, are they are pricey! But after considering the price, the extra bulk needed on their packaging for insulating that container and needing a larger lunch box to accommodate the size, and the nooks and crannies that are almost impossible to clean--I dropped that idea. These little gems are the perfect size for a lunch! They hold the perfect amount of water, are refillable, easy for my 5-yo to open, and he can't wait to get into them. As a mom, I love that this keeps water exciting for him. The lid seals quite nicely, no spills so far, the bottles are sturdy and I'm not afraid he will break them. The opening is not quite large enough for the ice cubes from our ice maker, but that does not seem to be an issue right now. I love that my son enjoys the bottles, they fit into whatever the lunch container of the day is [mini backpack, my lunch bag, etc] and nothing is overcrowded. And, for the price of these five bottles, it is less than the cost of one insulated [and oversized] bottle that doesn't hold any more than one of these lovely gems! My son and I give them two thumbs up!

I am so happy I came across this amazing product.. My Kids just love them.. I love them... They are just perfect for school and traveling. They are leek proof as well. I just love that it reduces waste of plastic water bottles as well. I also took one viewers tip on putting a little water in the bottle and freeze over night and in the morning fill the rest up and with water.. Thanks... My son hates to drink water and guess what he has been drinking water now for he just loves these bottles and both my kids say it stays cold. I would so recommend to buy if you have children or not.. They are that good... They are very much worth the money.. Thank you for such an amazing product..

Very durable. Best water bottle for my son. Easy to use and as long as the lid is screwed on tight, no leaks. And easy to wash.
