First Frost Hosta - Perennial Shade Garden Flower Bulb Root, Blueish Green and White Leaves

I've had poor luck when buying live plants online. Many arrive dead, mere scraps or packaged so poorly they die in transit. This plant arrived in good condition. I was initially disappointed at how sparse the little plant was, but it took to root quickly and is growing well.

It arrived in root form. I planted it in a pot to get it started in some garden soil. I was amazed how quickly the leaves started to form, not showing the “blue” leaves yet because it’s so new. Excited to see the full colors once it matures. Would definitely buy from this site again.

Beautiful Hosta in picture; however, the bulb never sprouted or grew. Very upsetting!

I received these as a root. Seemed nice and healthy, but it's been a month since received and planted and nothing yet. I bought other bulbs and they've already grown so I'm not sure what's happening. 🤔

I received this yesterday along with a sack of assorted Hosta starts from the same place. I immediately potted them and stood the pots in a container of water overnight because I forgot to soak the bare roots before potting. Now they are lined up to catch the tiniest bit of filtered afternoon sun. My only reason for four stars is that nothing was labeled. Received two baggies. The first contained one slip which I assume is this Hosta, and the second contained four slips, but nothing was labeled. And not all Hosta are the same as to how much sun they tolerate.

The roots of this hosta came to me in a small plastic bag. It begged to be released from the bag to be planted. Within 48hrs new leaf sprouts started to grow. It seems very happy to be in the ground. I am very satisfied & will order more.

Hoping these blur hostess don't fail me, wanted to plant from bulbs to watch them grow but so far only one has doubled in sized in 6 weeks. I'll update post once there is proof that I got what I paid for. 2months later and new photos added, neither plant was or is blue and have not grown at all. Placed next to seedlings which were planted as seeds and have fully grown into plants larger than these plants in the same 8 weeks.
