Great alternative to BMW panniers..
I’ve owned these and had them on my bike for two and a half years. They have been great and they look much better than the stock BMW cargo storage box on back (Stock one is oxidizing and fading). They are sturdy and other than the locking mechanism are nearly identical to stock panniers that cost $1500 a set. They mount very securely when you line up the front lock in the vertical position and the rear lock horizontally.. I highly recommend these to friends who have asked..

The brooks panniers are a exact fit for my factory 2016 BMW GSA racks. The aluminum is heavy gauge and for the money they are a lot of value.

If you are thinking of purchasing panniers for your GS, these are an excellent item. Examining every small detail, you'll find that these are either the same as the BMW adventure boxes, or so close there is no discernable difference. Every aspect of the quality is impeccable from the packaging to the welds to the latches. The latches are a double latching mechanism that cannot pop open while underway. There is a latch on each end of the box so the lid can be completely removed or, each latch can act as a hinge so that the lid can be opened/hinged in either direction. Honestly, at 1/2 the price of the BMW boxes, I'm not sure why anyone would buy the BMW ones. I love all things BMW Motorrad, but these are a superior product given the price. Customer service was good during the order process and the shipping was prompt. I ordered the Brooks rack to mount these on my GS and the rack is also very high quality and fits the bike and the boxes perfectly. Wholeheartedly recommend!

Great, solid bags! Lots of miles, and no problems.
I really like these bags. They came on my r1200GS (2005) when I bought it, and I have enjoyed using them every time. I ride a lot of dirt/rock, and a ton of highway, and I have literally never had a problem with these. Great value, solid product. They are not as heavy as the BMW stock bags, which I like. Typical bag liners fit nicely. These hold all my gear, tools, and jackets/gloves. The locks are easy, and everything is sturdy. They are not "one step" quick release, but come off in just a few quick steps. I leave mine on all the time, and pop out what I need, using bag liner luggage if I'm traveling. I would definitely buy again, and recommend to other riders!
