Great Sturdy Tool
I received this product to review at discount for my honest and unbiased opinion. I was very pleased with the ease of opening the package upon receipt of this product and instantly out of the package you can tell its of great quality construction. It is very heavy and not cheaply made and had a great handle for gripping. I couldn't wait to get started smashing garlic with this beauty. It worked nicely and cleaned up so fast and easy. It sped up the process of making dinner and made it more appetizing at the same time. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase.

Best garlic press i've owned
If you are ever home alone and afraid a serial killer is breaking in and you can only grab one kitchen gadget to defend yourself, grab this. This heavy duty garlic press could seriously do some damage. With that being said, it's a great quality. I had broken so many garlic presses that I appreciate the sturdiness of this - though it is a bit awkward to fit in the drawer. It also doesn't turn the garlic in to mush, another plus for me.*I received this product free or at a discount for offering my honest opinion. It is ok...
it is ok, I like the finish of this garlic press as it fits into my contemporary kitchen aesthetic better than the one i had before. It was one of the very common garlic pressers you can find at the store. It was white and the white finish was peeling off. I have never used a garlic press that was perfect in conception. It seems like every one i have used pushed the garlic past the hammer part leaving some un-minced. This one is no exception, the hammer actually seems even smaller in comparison to the depressed area that you put the whole cloves. when you try to fill that bowl area a lot of garlic presses out of the sides. Initially i thought this would be the answer to some of the questions i have about garlic press' but it was not. There are rubber teeth that are supposed to dislodge any stuck garlic but that doesn't really work so it seems like a waste of an idea. Maybe if the little rubber teeth were longer it would work. This isn't a bad garlic press but it isn't any better than any other one i have used. Ive put it in the dishwasher a coulee times now and it hasn't shown any signs of wear and tear. If there is anything that happens in the future in regard to the quality of this garlic press i will update my review. For now i am giving it a three star review because it is not a better or worse garlic press than the one it replaced. I purchased this garlic press at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest review. I am not incentivized to give this a positive review and not penalized for criticizing it. I do this to help amazon shoppers like yourself make an educated purchase and i hope i could help.

Do not buy!
I don't know what it is wrong with this garlic press but it does not work. When you put a clove in and squeeze the handle, nothing comes out. The close just gets squished inside. At first I thought maybe I just wasn't strong enough, but I had my husband try as well and he couldn't even do it. I thought the spikes on the inside would be helpful, but thats not the case. I definitely do not recommend this product. The only good thing I can say is that it looks nice. I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review.

This is a very well made sturdy utensil. It does a great job pressing garlic cloves. I love using it because lessens my time in the kitchen cooking meals. It takes me no time to prepare the garlic for a recipe. And the cleaning of the press is easy also. I bought this item at discount price and I love it.
