Imitation Vanilla, Butter and Nut Flavor - 8 Ounce Bottle

I use this product mostly for one purpose. There was a time that Cool Whip had a French Vanilla Flavor. I got hooked on the flavor of watermelon fruit salad (watermelon, grapes, strawberries, blueberries, cherries) with French Vanilla Cool Whip and granola on top. I ran out of regular Cool Whip one day and used FV variety and was stunned by the flavor combo of vanilla and watermelon. They continued to produce FV Cool Whip for a couple years and then bang - it was done. So I tried various methods to make my own and settled on a combo of Dr. Oekter's Vanilla Sugar and, ultimately Silver Cloud Butter and Nut Flavor. It's not an exact replica but it is close enough. I also occasionally add to butterscotch pudding ice cream pies. (Frozen desert) I add a bit to the pudding/ice cream/milk base.

A good product not as much of the flavor as I am accustomed to but have learned to adjust and conquer:)

Since McCormick is no longer available in stores, I am glad to find a substitute, however it is definitely a substitute. I find the taste a bit medicinal and less pleasing. The color is more orangy where I much prefer the yellow of the McCormick. I will use this until the McCormick becomes available again but will definitely go back if it does.

I haven’t opened this bottle yet as I’m still using my last. This is the only flavoring I use in my pound cakes.

Well satisfied with the flavor. Use it to make pound cakes. Replaces a name brand wihich seems to have been discontinued.

There's nothing any better than butter not flavoring and now I got the biggest bottle I ever had of it. The great part of it is, I won't have to be searching the stores for it anymore, I can stay home and just order it online!

This is a good product. Not as good as McCormick but for the price and size jar you get I would purchase it again.
