Tried two others previously- this one's the winner.
I first bought one of these for my mother-in-law who lives in assisted living and has memory loss issues. It's a godsend for her. Having the actual day and date show (largely) is a big deal when you aren't sure if it's Tuesday or Thursday. Other clicks similar to this don't have the same format and large display. Be careful buying this since several companies buy these and private label them by putting their names on them-which can look really tacky if it's too large. I've bought 2 other different models prior to this one- this one is the best I've found. Bonus- clock is atomic clock and sets itself. Overall pros: big display, decent looking (available in black or white), self setting time and date, reasonably priced for the value and function and look. I've since bought four more and put them in my own home, have two in mom's apartment (one in kitchen and one in bedroom), and one at my office! Very good product and would recommend.

Didn't Last
Worked great for about 3 months then started shutting off and became increasingly difficult to turn back on until it died about 9 months after purchase, long after the 30-day warranty expired.

Not accurate time, worked 3 years and stopped
Does not keep accurate time and has quit working after 3 years. It totally wasn’t worth what I paid for it, $74 but it would be worth $35 and it was wonderful for keeping track of the day. Unfortunately it was always off by 2 to 10 mins but I just set it ahead 10 mins and then when it got behind I’d reset. Worked for me. I miss the clock but probably won’t replace it.

Display is awesome, but clock runs slow
I bought this clock because I loved the display. The letter size and white-on-black make it so easy to read. One huge problem, however, is that the clock cannot keep time. It slowly falls out of sync. At first, only 1 minute slow, no biggie. A month later, 3 minutes slow. Now, a few months later, the clock is 15 minutes slow. Because it's a wall clock and hung high on the wall, it's a pain to have to adjust it.The other problem with the clock is that the way the power cord sticks out the side, it's very difficult to conceal it. I have a nice wall cord cover for the wire all the way up to the clock, but then there's this puffy wire sticking out the side. The cord should have been an angle connector instead of a straight one. What would make this product a 5-star product: better cord management, and either time synced to Atomic clock (like La Crosse clocks), or synced via Wi-fi. As it is, it's a disappointment. At a bare minimum, a clock needs to be able to tell the correct time.

Highly recommend the seller - clock runs efficiently visible day or night.
I commend the seller of this product the Extra-Large Memory Loss Digital Clock (as large as other of its type) packs the clock very well, sends the clock onward speedily and the clock itself is reliable once you have set time and date.Hurrah needs to create a battery or atomic operated clock like this. At night this clock glows like a night light. Day or night it can be easily read at 30 or more feet.Setting the time is as difficult as the tiny digital clocks. So if you are older ask a younger friend to set this clock. OR set the time at night. Why? When the tiny display shows up on the options the data (hours or minutes) you wish to change is displayed in blue, which can be difficult for some to see during the day (as in blue printing on black background). For someone older having something that increases the monthly electrical costs I was hesitant to purchase this item. Our other clocks merely need a battery change once a year (in some cases every two years).Summary. This is an excellent clock a little difficult to set time. Runs perfectly. Electrical cord needs to be fairly near an outlet (no batteries). I would purchase from this seller again.

Wonderful calendar/clock!
We love this calendar clock and use it more for the date portion. We have an elderly person in the house who appreciates it for the day of the week reminder. We placed it on top of a bookcase and it's about the size of a picture frame. It looks very nice, the display is large and clear and can be seen from across a room. I find this a nicer alternative than having to refer to a calendar. This is a wonderful product for anyone!Suggestion to manufacturer: It would be great to be able to program the display to move the time to the bottom of the screen and the date to the middle, right under the day indicator.

Works better than I could have hoped.
Purchased this per my father's request for my grandmother who has a bit of dementia due to a surgical procedure she underwent. We hoped seeing this clock every day would help keep her a little more grounded as to what day and time it was. So far, so good. English is a second langauge for her so this also forces her to practice English and translating it to Spanish. This has turned into a fun little activity from her. It's a little pricey, but worth every penny for the outcome. Also, it is of very good quality.
