This pad is incredibly easy to use, but really only good for one use. The second use will have a shadow of the first present. For instance, if you use it on your baby's hand, then on her foot, the foot print will have the outline of her hand in it.But the worst part is that it won't dry. Its been over two months, and I can still smudge the prints with my dry finger. I've left the page in her baby book open, next to a heat vent for most of that time. I'm hoping it will dry eventually. But if not, I'm going to put packing tape over the page.We were also able to do a print of her older brother's hand, next to hers in the baby book, so we can look back and see how much bigger than her he was. Super cute. There is plenty of ink in this pad. I don't know why that shadow effect occurs.

I love the fact that I was able to do this without having to smear ink or paint on my baby’s hand. That being said, this is better for a baby who is still in the sleepy stage or a child who can understand what you are doing and listen. My 8 month old who grabs everything, not so much. I did hand and foot on a Father’s Day card, and a book that is a gift. The first foot I did okay with, but pushed a smidge too hard. I tried to press lighter with the hand, but then of course, she is very grabby and didn’t really want to participate. So then I did the book and I forgot about putting the book on a flat surface and put it on the bed, so that’s why it’s a little less complete, and she pulled away, so it smeared. Then the hand, still on the bed and she grabbed the ink pad and pulled away. Smearing the ink and ruining the ink pad. I probably could have done a few more prints if she hadn’t destroyed it, and definitely had I not pushed so hard on the first print.Overall, I like the product, it’s just hard with my baby’s age. And I do like the results. Not perfect, but there is no perfect with a baby.

I bought this extra large ink pad to put baby’s feet and hands in her baby book. It was extremely hard ( because newborns don’t listen lol ). She would curl her toes when lifting off the pad or not open her hand. A tired baby is much easier to work with. The pad only really works well once in an area, other prints we tried had light spots where i used it the first time. Definitely get the big one and consider getting two ink pads for practice and putting prints on card stock and taping in the book instead of stamping directly in the book

I ordered the extra large clean touch ink pad because I wanted to have some at a year so we could compare to the newborn prints. I really liked the sound of the clean touch ink pad because I try to avoid as many messes as I can now that I have a toddler who is constantly making messes for me. :) That feature was great, we had zero mess and we were able to get the prints within a minute or two. Again, time is precious when it comes to a fidgety toddler so we really liked that.I ordered the x-large version that I read was great for toddlers. I was worried his feet would be too big for it but they fit great! My only issue was the 2 uses in one. From the photos you can see, while we did get multiple prints, each one has the prints from before outlined in them. :( There is no room for testing on this product so make sure you get it right the first time. While my major complaint is the claim of 2 uses, everything else was as said.

I wanted to like this product.The packaging leaves is susceptible to being accidentally pressed into the ink. As other reviewers have said, once the ink is touched it is noticeable with any further prints trying to be made. I ordered two with this in mind, and I was so happy that by the second one I had created a beautiful footprint of my two month old’s tiny foot. I had also read that it takes time for the ink to dry, so I left it alone for two days.Y’all, whatever this ink is, it does not dry. Weeks later, if I brush my fingers across the paper, the ink smudges. If the thing won’t dry, how am I supposed to frame it and enjoy it? Definitely would not set another momma up for this frustration.I am so disappointed.
