Light Wood & Glass Salt Mill and Pepper Grinder Set

I'd shopped around to replace some old wooden mills and these caught my eye. Especially for the price. At times I can't tell if they are adjusted to fine or coarse but no biggie. I'm not that worried about it. I just do normal home cooking and these suffice perfectly. I was specifically looking for one without the lid or a cap to have to remove with dirty or greasy hands. I also didn't want ones that store grinder part down to get all that mess on the counter. These fit all my needs and I'm very pleased.

Nice set. After receiving the super fast delivery on Sunday (truly so amazing in itself ) the set was in perfect condition in their own little box within the Amazon box. I quickly filled them with the my own pink Himalayan salt and black pepper corns just like the picture shows. The set is a beautiful beech wood and glass design trimmed with a stainless steel band. It is easy to adjust for desired coarseness to fine with the knob on the top of the ceramic grinder. I used it immediately and all is well. I love the clean lines and contemporary design just lovely. Thanks for everything - I am pleased & happy.

I've been using these for a few months now and so far they've been great. They look nice and are just the right size in my opinion. I do wish the adjustment was a little more clearly defined. It's just a matter of tightening and loosening the center burr. If you're not careful, from what I could tell, there is nothing stopping someone from loosening it to the point that it comes right off. There also doesn't seem to be anything stopping someone from over tightening. Of course, most people should know well enough not to do so but it seems like there should be some limits.

It's hard to find a decent grinder on a budget. Seems like you have to pay $80+ for anything that will last. Ceramic parts are fitted well, wood is good looking and very smooth (easy to clean), and the glass seems durable and is also shaped for easy cleaning. Grinds Kosher salt, raw sugar, whole peppercorn, etc. to a powder with no struggle. You'll be happy with these mills.

Very nice looking and the right size for my cupboard. I haven't used them yet. Opened the box again and found one of the tops was cracked. So disappointing.

Upon opening my grinders I decided to clean them. I had no issues with the glass parts, but after using a slightly damp sponge on the wood part and drying them I returned to the kitchen the next day to find the finish of the wood is cracking and peeling off. They are beautiful, but I am disappointed that the lids have done this. There were no instructions that mentioned not being able to get the lids damp at all...

They look just like the picture but the salt mill is very hard to grind. Pepper works fine.

I really like these grinders. They're a great size (not too big) to sit on the counter, but hold plenty of salt and pepper. Love the look of the bamboo with the glass. They work very smoothly and give a good, even distribution of salt and pepper. Nice quality. No complaints at all.
