Excellent little heater
Got one for my garden office. Only have it on Low heat setting to save a bit of electric and that's more than enough for the size of my small office. Heats up the room very nicely. The timer settings can take a bit of time to understand but easy to do now once I understood them. The auto timer will only operate on whole hours so you can't say have it turn on automatically at like half past the hour and off an hour later at the next half past time. So 12-14 on the display does not mean 12:14. It means you have it set to come on at 12pm and switch off at 2pm. Once that was clear - it's very simple to program.Thermostat works well and kicks off the heater once target temperature is reached so the heating doesn't stay on constantly. Turn it up if you want this behaviour for longer though. I have the room set at 20 degrees and it reaches that temperature in like 20-30 mins. Thermostat then turns off the heating and I think it kicks back in again when temperature falls by like 2 degrees again? Not 100% sure on that though. You can also just flick it to manual mode to turn it on for heating at anytime though. You can also set a time for it to turn off in manual mode if you so wish but I usually just turn it off by myself by switching it back to auto mode again since I'm usually in the room when I have it on manual mode for a bit of extra heat. Although the timer could be useful if you're worried about forgetting to switch it off otherwise it'll run forever until you remember about it.Overall highly recommend the heater! Would recommend picking the power for the room size! Also consider the half power outputs too as 1500kw can do 750kw at low power so that may be better than buying the 1000kw which only does 500kw at low power so keep that in mind!

So far, so good
This heater is a great addition to my 5.5m x 2.5m extension. When working from home I do not want to heat the whole house. There are two settings - hi and lo. I have set the digital temperature to 21 degrees and run the unit on low power. There is an auto mode (not tested yet) and when the desired temp is reached, it turns itself off until the temp drops. It makes for a comfortable working environment without breaking the bank (15 to 20p per hour). The power lead is about 1.5m long and could do with being a bit longer. There is also the option to place on wheels. It was worth paying a bit more for this over some of the cheaper alternatives, it looks good on the wall, it appears well made and robust. Finally, the digital display is clear to see and easy to access and adjust, unlike other brands. Worth the money, you get what you pay for 👍🏼

Quality product functions well
The Devola Panel Heater has the appearance of a quality product. The mounting to a wall is relatively straight forward although the detachable wall brackets are a bit fussy in design with a small captive screw at the top of each bracket. The controls are well explained in the manual and are easy to understand and set up and operate effectively in use.The heater functions well and has good heat output but it should be noted that the front panel gets hot in use, which is good in my application, since it provides a little radiant as well as convector heat.I would recommend the product.

Nice heater, but does not have frost protection and poor response from seller. PLUG GETS VERY HOT.
Edited on 31st Dec 2021.I have not heard back from Devola about the hot plug issue. Very poor.Edited on 15th December 2021. Still no response from Devola regarding the hot plug issue despite an email sent on 9th December. First contacted on 30th November. Pretty poor in my view. with what is possibly a problem. Make your own minds up. Pity really. I have one of their other products, which is really quite good.Edited on 3rd December 2021. No response from Devola. I have dropped my rating to 1 star.Edited on 30th Nov 2021Devola did get back to me re my original questions in the end, but it wasn't a great response. BUT, I wanted to add this:As it has now been in use for a while during a cold period, I have noticed that the plug gets REALLY hot when on full power (2.4Kw) for about an hour or more. During some controlled conditions, I measured, after 75 minutes, the plug and cord near to the plug measured 60.1 deg c. Surely that is not right.I put my Delonghi Dragon back in which was run at 2.5Kw and after 75mins, the plug and cord were just mildly warm, measuring 33.1 deg c. I have contacted Devola and expect a response within 24 hours, but I don't think this is right and wanted to let people know and they should check theirs.See edit above. It all started well: I had a question pre ordering about the tilt cut-out, which they confirmed it had (There are others on this site that say they have it, but don’t), so I ordered one.It looks pretty sturdy, everything was in the box (the wheels are tucked away in the packing material so don’t think it is not there as it is easily overlooked) and the timer works fine (you can set 4 time blocks per day). It all seems to work ok, but I cannot yet say how well it will behave in the cold weather. I set the temperature high just to test it out and the temperature cuts out when the temperature at the sensor reaches the set temperature. It cuts back in around 3 degrees below the set temperature, so bear this in mind. So that is all fine. Now the caveats and reasons why I gave it only 2 stars.Like most manuals, it loses some detail in the translation; however, it is a good manual as it is of a decent size and only in English. Don’t look for a way to set the date (as it says in the manual) as it means day.On the Amazon description, it says it has frost protection. It does not mention this in the manual. Of course you can set one of the timer blocks to cut in at 5 deg c, but this is not frost protection and you lose one of your timer blocks. My idea of frost protection (and as it is on my other heaters), is that no matter what the timer or temperatures is set at, if the ambient temperature drops below 5 deg c, it will turn on.I managed to turn the window open control to OFF, which is fine, but it does not seem to want to turn back on should I wish to use it. Also, it says on the Amazon description for domestic or commercial use but in the manual it clealy says not for commercial or industrial use.As I was moving the heater to its final resting place, I noticed a rattle. On observation, nearly all the screws on the back plate were loose and I had to tighten them about an eighth of a turn. I did wonder if they were loose for a reason (to allow for expansion?), but I doubted that.I registered the unit to extend the warranty and did not recieve any confirmation.I sent an email to the supplier asking them about all these things, but after 3 emails and a phone call, I have not had a response in over 4 weeks. So it will probably be a good heater, only time will tell, but I am not sure what backup would be like if anything goes wrong. Looking at their other reviews for other products, people seem satisfied, so make up your own minds.See edit above.

Slim & effective
A nice heater. But hope it lasts longer than the first one, which only lasted 12 months before it blew up.
