Brings back memories of my childhood
I remember this book very well - it was one of my childhood favorites. Before I could read, my older sister would read it to me, often. . .so often that I had the book thoroughly and accurately memorized!I found it on Amazon and ordered it to keep it on my bookcase with some of the books I have had since my childhood - just a few books, just some of the favorites. So glad this one is still being published.Arrived in excellent condition and in a timely fashion. Thank you for the memories!!

Angus is the BEST!!
I bought the 3 Angus books as a gift for the new mom for the baby shower. She was so excited to receive them.

Part of the best children's series ever!
Angus and the Cat was my favorite childhood book. My family didn't discover that there were two others in the series until I was an adult. I have bought these for my nephew and he loves them just as much as me (he has a corgi, so he relates to Angus' problem of growing longer, not taller). I definitely recommend these to all kiddos who love pups and parents who want to teach their kids lessons through literature. I bought the library bound edition because this is the kind of story you want to have last.

Just as good as the others
Awww, we love the Angus books because we have a Scottie. This one makes me a little sad because it’s just how ours would leave too, but it’s just as great as all the other angus books. They are such sweet stories.

the most wonderful children's book about dogs...
Angus Lost is the third in a trilogy of little books about a wonderfully cute little Scotty named Angus. I was introduced to Angus about three years ago as a friend's parents gave us Angus and the Cat as a kind of thank you gift for entertaining their son.In Angus Lost, he decides to visit the world outside his fence and runs into many new and different friends. Suddenly Angus realizes he's far from home but uses good old Scottish know-how and wherewithal to return to the old homestead. It's just quite simply and engaging and wonderful book that I highly recommend.

Home Adventure Home Story
Angus Lost by Marjorie Flack is a perfect home adventure home story for a read aloud in kindergarten, first or second grade classrooms. It tells a story of a curious dog who leaves home to learn about the world outside his gate. Children relate to Angus and understand his feelings. A discussion about the milkman and his job is always interesting and often relates to Social Studies units on community helpers then and now. This book can also be used as a model text for writer's workshop on home adventure home stories. Sharing this story with children is a joy and a pleasure.

SUPER fast delivery
SUPER fast delivery ! This is a wonderful book for small children to have read to them, or to practice their own reading skills. This book was written more than 80 years ago, and it has that wonderful children's sensibility that was so often found in books of that era.The book itself warrants 5 stars but owing to the slightly lightweight and overly glossy paper stock on which it is printed I have to knock it down one star.

Fun For Beginning Readers to Practice INFLECTION!
If you like Scotty Dogs you must read Angus. Old classic, illustrations stand up pretty well; the stories are good enough to carry modern readers through the unfamiliar illustration style. My young friend is just starting to click with reading and she enjoyed emphasizing the capital letter WOOF!s and other accented words in the Angus books. A classic series--read them all!

Nostalgic
I can remember reading this book as a small child as it was part of the curriculum at that time. This must have been about 1970 and I never forgot the pictures and storyline. I’m 54 now!! Very nostalgic and delightful.

another Angus book!
We had been reading Angus and the Cat for over thirty years, but only discovered recently that there were two more Angus books so we sent off for them and they were both wonderful!
