Gemtune Ultralsonic Dog Barking Control Outdoor/indoor (Black)

I didn't actually expect this thing to work, especially since training requires the dog to associate the noise with barking--my dogs are super lovable but, well, not the brightest crayons in the box. Pleasantly surprised!I used it to train the dogs not to bark when we leave-- they used to go crazy and when we would pull up, you could hear them from the driveway. I put this bark house in a central area of the house on the low setting, and to my delight when we got home, no more crazy barking! Just some whining at the door. Only took a few days of training and now I don't even have to turn it on anymore when we leave.I now mainly use it in the backyard. We have noisy neighbor dogs on both sides. When ours go in the backyard to play, they sometimes get set off by the neighbor dogs and everyone is barking. Well I put this thing out there and turned it all the way up, and it quieted our dogs AND the neighbor dogs. THANK YOU.Only issue I have is I think it may be too sensitive or confuse any loud sound with barking because sometimes the green light turns red when no one barks.

We purchased this item to minimize barking upon the recommendation of a friend who has multiple dogs. While it doesn't completely eradicate the barking (and, really, don't we want to have our watchdogs capable of warning us?), we haven't had any incessant barking by our pet (or by the neighbor's beagle) since we hung it from a tree branch near our fence. It has worked so well that I purchased two more as gifts for family members.

My dogs started fighting (teeths showing and handles up) as soon as this was turned on. I can't use it, sadly.

I wish that the battery would last a little longer but other than that not bad

Turned it on and left it alone, neighbors dog did not bark for a month

Worse thing ever! Doesn't deter dogs from barking at all! If you speak to loud it's light comes on--------NOTHING GOOD ABOUT THIS AT ALL! Do not waste your money.
