Great carb for the price!
Hard to believe you can get a carb for under $20. To make it even sweeter, you get an air filter, spark plug, fuel screen & shutoff valve, gasket, fuel hose and clamps to complete the job! The fuel line was too short for my application but that is not a big deal to me. The carb works fine after an initial adjustment. Fast shipping was a nice bonus also.

Reliable carburetor
This carb has ran for two seasons, no trouble at all. It was a good fit and easy install. For the price, I don't think you'll find a better one

Breathing New Life Into My 50+ Years Old Troy Built Tiller
When I was a young man, more than 50 years ago, my father fancied himself as something of an organic gardener. Of course, he didn't do any of the manual tilling and hoeing, he had children for that, and he had me to run the tiller. I always love how well the tiller worked and after his passing I somehow managed to acquire that tiller. Eventually the tiller had problems starting and the carburetor spent more time sitting on my workbench than attached to the tiller. I suspected that ethanol added to regular gas was the culprit, gutting the jets and corroding the float and decided it was time to get a new carburetor. I'm certainly glad this was both affordable and 100% fixed my problem. The kit comes complete and you only need a few tools to get the new one installed, adjusted and getting the old machine up and running again. My other alternative was to buy a new tiller, so I am thrilled to resurrect and restore my familiar friend to almost like new status. This was absolutely the best purchase I've made all week long.

Carb is good, the rest not so great
The carb works flawlessly. It surprised me how well it is working. The rest of the bits included are garbage. The valve leaks, the filter is comically thin, the fuel line is a joke. But the price was a steal for the carb alone.

Doesn't fit Tecumseh H30 engine
This carb bolted onto the engine fine. But as the pix show, the throttle linkage is on the wrong side of the throttle plate pivot point. The throttle is closed in both pix and the throttle linkage is supposed to "push" the throttle open. On the old carb, the "push" rotates the throttle counterclockwise, opening it. On this carb, "push" tries to turn the throttle pivot clockwise which is in the closed direction and it's already on the stop so nothing happens. I looked at a lot of carbs online and "most" are of this design but there are a few out there that have the correct correlation of attachment holes to the pivot point as in the old carb. Simple fix appears to be to just drill a hole on the opposite side of the pivot point, which I'll probably do. But before you buy, look at your old carb to determine if it's compatible with the throttle linkage setup, otherwise, get your drill out. Update 5-23-23: Drilled the hole and mounted the carb. Engine would not start with supplied (cheap) spark plug. Put old plug (Champion) back in and it started. But gas leaked out of the carb after bowl filled even when stopped. Took it apart and found the float needle valve was shorter than the one on the old carb. See pic (a little blurry, i know). The upper one in the pic is the new one and has a black plastic tip. Old one is all metal. Put the old needle valve in the new carb and leakage stopped. Engine started and ran for about 5 minutes but it was surging and as I was adjusting it, it stopped. Wouldn't restart so more troubleshooting ahead.
