Great balls of....ice!
I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because the manufacturer could have molded in a thin line making the fill level, but other than that, it's great! I added a mark with a permanent marker so that I can fill to the correct level. If you fill too full there will be over flow when you push the two halves together. It's not a huge deal, but it does created some extra ice around the ball. If you under fill the balls will be flat on one end.I have filled these with lemonade and leaves of basil and added the frozen balls to cocktails. They look pretty and add subtle flavor. Use lime juice and mint to add to Mojitos. Strawberries, blueberries....the options are endless.I will probably get another one of these so I can produce more balls more quickly. For now, I just keep freezing them, popping them out into a ziplock bag and start the process over. It's easy to keep the process going for a few days and fill a gallon bag.

I have yet to get a perfect ball of ice
it makes ice, and it is close to round, but not spherical as I hoped. on other models there is a fill line, you don't overfill. these don't have that. so you either get ice that is clearly missing a portion of the sphere, or a sphere with a tip on top, from where you poured the water in, but overfilled. I have yet to get a perfect ball of ice, despite many attempts.because the holder is a soft rubber, when you are holding it while filling you are (though not deliberately) squeezing some of the mass intended for water. that is how you under fill. when you try to compensate, or just plain fill to the top, that's how you get too much.in general, it just shouldn't be so involved. its still just ice. get a different one. (I haven't tried out different ones yet to suggest another model)

Not amazing, but I still like it okay
They are cute, but do not really melt slower as far as I can tell.... did not come with filling instructions either but I figure it out. there is no way to get them perfectly round as far as I can tell though, always have the little fill hole nub or something. Since there are only four of them, I need to get some sort of ice cube holder (I had no idea that ice evaporated in the freezer!) so that I can make more, and hopefully they will not stick to eachother and make a giant glob like they did just in a bowl...

Nice, the kids love it
Nice, the kids love it.Our icemaker doesnt keep up with demand and noone wants to cut back on their ice habit so Dad makes ice with this thing. Big cubes go a long way, the kids enjoy using them and it gives me something to do. The rubber mold is quite soft so its very easy to pop out the ice and reload fast.

Okay for the price
I tried my friends more expensive ice ball maker which was great.Brought this it works okay, the water seeps out the sides a bit so the balls are not as round as Lord Zenu intended, but I manage to live with these small imperfections.

Not my favorite purchase
Not very easy to use. Every once in a while I'm lucky enough to get a complete ice ball but it's usually a fail. It should come with instructions if there is a particular way to make this work right. I have tried everything I can think of.

It's so cute!
Use this ice ball maker is easier than use a ice cube maker I think. I like to use it make juice ice balls for my friends. You can make different colors of balls. They came out so cute! It's really good for party. The only problem is that it can only make 4 balls a time, so I may need more of this.
