I'm sure I could eventually figure out how to get these to stay on my dog, but I prefer the Power Paws that I purchased. These booties are easier to put on than the Power Paws but they twist and do not stay put. I've seen other reviews that say you just have to figure out how to secure them but I have not found a way to do that and have no interest in working at it.

I LOVE these booties!! They keep my precious Golden's feet and pads safe from the hot summer concrete!! They go on as easily as could be expected with a dog bootie and the Velcro strap does a good job of keeping them in place on my dog's foot. I have had them for quite some time now and they are still in great condition so they are really quite durable. They do turn a little on my dog's foot so sometimes I have to readjust them to make sure the black pad part is on the underside of the foot but that is nothing I wouldn't expect for something like this on an active dog's foot. I have also washed them a few times and they wash up great without any fraying or coming apart. They also look so darn cute on her feet!! She usually always gets compliments. :)

I haven't found a pair of traction socks that will stay on my Labrador Retreiver for any extended time however the Velcro straps on these booties do help. Unfortunately, the booties I ordered size XL are too big so they don't stay on as well as they should. The other traction socks ( made by different companies) I bought for her were size L and too small so I figured she would take XL in these booties but I was wrong. They do tend to run large. If I had ordered the right size I think I would be very happy with these booties .

So, I ordered these last week, thinking they would get here in a week or two. NO---the expected delivery date is June 26th. That is FIVE WEEKS away. If you are ok with waiting that long, go ahead and order these. I was unaware of this. I really hope they fit my dog and I can come back and update that these were worth the 5 week wait....

My dog wore them once for a ten minute walk and I was adjusting them every minute because they twisted so much. Other reviews said that happened with dogs with long hair, so I thought it would be OK for my girl since she's a pit bull and hardly has hair on her legs. Unless they're strapped on super tight, and I mean tight, they will twist. The material isn't the best either, it already is roughed up and snagged after one use. Won't buy again, it's worth just getting the heavy duty ones even though it's summer.

My dog has a paw licking problem bad enough to land him at the vet with a big, swollen wound on one paw. I bought these to keep him away from the two paws he always licks at when I'm not around to watch him. I really like therse because they have mesh, so they "breathe" rather than making his paws hot and moist like the neoprene or leather can do. They have not come off, so the velcro is doing it's job. I've left him alone for hours at a time with no problems. What a relief!

Stays on for in house use. Slips off for longer walks. Well made and worth the price. My dog gets bad skin allergies in the summer and these help prevent him from biting and licking his paws during the day. I slip them off when I walk him and reapply later
