It works great but I have to use a rubber band to hold it in place against the radio. The captive screw thats supposed to do so is not long enough. I would have given it a 5 star if it wasn't for that fact

The earpiece does take some getting use to, but once you do its comfortable. The sound quality could be better. I tend to have to ask the other person to repeat themselves. The worst part is that it is already broken. The clear tubbing for the earpiece connects to a black piece. That black piece is already split. It is still workable as of now, but once that black piece fully breaks off, the tubing wont be able to connect and then I won't be able to use it. Overall, because of how easily and quickly that has split and the sound quality, I would purchase another item.

I use a radio in a loud environment and have found this type of head set to be quite useful. When purchased the listed compatibility was for the radio model I use at work, however, the set would work fine for listening but absolutely did not work on the ptt. After looking at the back side of the plug that ties into the radio one pin is missing. I can only assume that one pin is for the ptt application. This is the second head set I have purchase from amazon that states the model number I currently use. It's unfortunate the product lines carried by amazon are not compatible or are listed incorrect for now I will have to acquire a head set from another source. Check closely the pin out on the connector side matches identically to the radio you are using, if there is no picture in which to do so don't buy.

Longer cord than others. The small plastic piece the pigtail attaches to broke the first day. Not sure if it was me or the product but my others have been through the same and haven’t broke

Works great until moisture builds up in clear tube, which for me is about half way through every shift with the 100+ degree summer heat.
