London Underground 3D Puzzle Train Set

Wonderful model. Runs really well. Station adds a great addition to the layout. Great fun taking apart and re-building the puzzle element of it

This is a solidly built, nice looking, chunky tube train set, seemingly perfect for our train obsessed 3 year old. However, it doesn’t get used much, as the train is too wide for a lot of the ‘special’ bits of track we have like tunnels and bridges and level crossings as you can see in the photo. So he uses his older trains which fit. The tunnel from the box idea is good, but in reality you need to manage to detach the front piece of plastic to be able to push trains all the way along inside. This piece of plastic is glued in place, so you can’t take it out without ruining the box. Therefore the tunnel is quite long with only small openings either end and even little hands struggle to push through a train which is stuck in the middle of the tunnel if the train being used isn’t at least as long as the tunnel itself. So while the concepts are good, the execution of them hasn’t quite managed to work as well as possible, which is disappointing.

I bought this for my grandson who loves trains and tubes.He loved it!Great workmanship and the packaging which could be used as a tunnel was both a delight and eco friendly. Win winI will be buying other pieces to add to this piece so he can build up his own individual train set.

Good quality. I would recommend. A bit pricey though.
