The Nature Mandala Coloring Book Paperback – Coloring Book, April 12, 2016

Beautiful book! If you like coloring mandalas this is mandalas with a twist. A step up. They have animals in them. And the paper is excellent. I used watercolor pen inks and a bit of alcohol markers and gel pens and the paper held up great! I do not regret buying this book and highly recommend it.

I LOVE this book! I love doing the nature mandalas, and this book does not disappoint! The pictures are complex yet not so tiny you can't enjoy doing them. They have a great variety of styles. I will definitely be looking for more from this artist!

This book is neat! There is a list of the 44 mandalas you'll find throughout. In each mandala, there is an animal or plant life/aspect of nature featured. To name a few:DragonflyMothHummingbirdPossomOwlCockerelSalamanderArmadilloSwanButterflyHorseElephantQuailPeacockLionSnailThere are 96 pages, with a discussion on what a mandala really is, in the front. It explains that a mandala is 'the Self, the wholeness of the personality,' (Carl Jung). The paragraphs in the beginning give history on the mandala, and how its circle shape relates to the cyclical nature of life.These designs are repetitive, which can help to relax and calm your mind. It is said as well, that many psychologists and art therapists incorporate them into their work. Here's a quote from the paragraph:"Focusing one's attention on these patterns can have the dual effect of both calming the nerves and stimulating attention...Set aside any anxiety you may have about your drawing ability and relax into the simple pleasure of laying down color."

A favorite! On nice paper, good clear lines and fun drawings. Only downside is pages are not perforated so can remove easily.

I've not been a fan of mandalas, but these are wonderful. Unique designs that are neat and clean.

I have several of her books get extras when possible to give as presents.

Cynthia Emerlye has THE best mandala books out there. I hope she keeps coming up with more of them.

全部の絵柄が、１つづつの、マンダラで、出来ていて、塗りやすいです。絵柄も綺麗です。本の大きさが大きい分、絵柄も、大きくてとても、見やすいです。

A really lovely book of Mandala , the paper is a really nice quality and the designs are detailed but not too intricate like in some books , I am 40 something and the eyes aint what they were , really enjoying avoiding housework and colouring , just don t tell hubby .

I love Mandala colouring books, these patterns were a bit larger than some of the others in the series but lovely.
