I’ve been a fan of Kute Blackson for a while. He is a charismatic teacher, speaker, and entrepreneur – not to mention good-looking and charming. From the videos of him I’ve watched, he’s always energetic, animated and inspirational. His positivity and energy seems to flow out of those videos and leaves you feel motivated, more hopeful, and somewhat transformed. Can a book – his first book – achieve what a video can?Yes. Blackson has done it – he has poured himself the same way he does for his videos. From one coach to another, I celebrate this ability, this authenticity, and this success. I appreciate this modelling and I am inspired to do more great work – back to the book.For starters, the book is titled You. Are. The. One. not You Are The One. That’s Blackson for you. Original. But not original for the sake of standing out. Be patient as you go with him on this ride and by the end of the book, you’d get his message loud and clear – You are the one (or at least I hope you do)!Published in 2016, You. Are. The. In the prologue, Blackson wrote about meeting the richest man in the world. In subsequent chapters, he shared his personal story of how he left his destined career, moved to L.A. and found his own path. He is the creator of the unique “Liberation Experience” where he travels with an individual client across India for fourteen days, and the books shares some of the life-changing stories.Blackson wastes no words in this book. Each word contributes to the story, which in turn illuminates the message behind the book. As somebody who has been on the personal development path for many years now, I was moved by the stories, appreciated his book and essence behind his message. I would recommend this book to anybody who is seeking the purpose and meaning of life.

The author brings his personal experiences as a church member and then a seeker of the Truth to create an entertaining and enjoyable book of exploration and wonder. Enjoy the book and the journey!

Sometimes a book comes along and changes everything. You.Are.The.One. is that book. The world has been waiting for this to come to fruition and touch the lives of people everywhere. The world needs this more than ever before and Kute Blackson has given us all a true gift. I was deeply touched by this book, I laughed and I cried as I could resonate with each word. Whether you are someone who is on a spiritual path or never in your life read a self help book, it will ignite a passion and a fire within you. It does not read self help at all. There is no 5 ways to do this or 10 steps to do that. It truly is an adventure, an adventure that he boldly and courageously takes you on within each page. You feel a sense of heart openness, rawness, realness and no BS. Encrypted in the stories of this book are beautiful teachings that will help you peel away the layers of conditioning that you may have been carrying. The beautiful reminders of who we are without the layers and masks that we hide behind. He reminds us all that within us we are infinite and that we are the ones. We have the ability to change the course of our lives, no one is going to do it for us. This book has the ability to transform lives, I know that it has done that for me. It's reminded me that life indeed has given me everything and that it owes me nothing. It's up to me to decide to live my dreams, to love fully and live my purpose. This is a book that is wonderful for people of all ages. I cannot wait to give it to my teenage niece and nephew, my entire family and share it with all my friends. The world is waiting for us to step up, YATO is a vessel for people everywhere to ignite that within them!

This is my first book review and it is not just a five star kind of book for me, it's a billion star universe kind of book. Loved to read books since I was a little girl, but a major life crisis shifted me in reading self help books to help me with the pain. I was daddy's girl, he was my world, my everything. The unconditional love I felt from him, I can't even describe it. It showed in his eyes, less in words, but all in actions. His suicide ruined me. He didn't leave a note or anything to help me understand why? The pain I felt left me in depression, anxiety... I wanted answers. I was so angry at him, but then as I was sobbing in my bed one night I felt tremendous pressure on my chest. I couldn't breathe, my throat got so tight as I was suffocating, I realized the answer was there all along. He opened me to love, he gave me the greatest yet the most painful gift a father could give to his daughter. He gave me..ME, the love I felt for him left me crying in agony. I don't remember last time I cried so loud and with my whole body. This book is a heart awakener. It helped me see how I have hindered my own growth by feeling so small and insignificant. It helped me see a blessing in a tragedy. I've never felt freer and more curegeous than ever before. As I'm writing this review tears are rolling down my face. I'm so grateful. I love this book, I love the author. I love the cover of this book, I love the smell of this book. Everything about this book invites me in to go back and re-read certain chapters again as a reminder. I'm blessed! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!Greta Bauza
