Seems to difficult to imagine that someone can manufacture a saucepan lid that's not up to the job, doesn't it?
The lid I received is not exactly as the picture - the difference is that the flat section of the handle (where it meets the glass) is not plastic but metal and the top part of the handle is not big enough to allow you to pick up the lid without the ends of your fingers touching the metal section, resulting in you burning the ends of your fingers.However, it arrived quickly and was well packaged.
