Silicone Splatter Guard Skillet Pot Pan Cover Strainer Trivet Round 11" Red

Really well made product. Thick silicone that is not super flexible. Haven't used it as a splatter guard just yet. Mainly used it for draining fat from meats.

I like this splatter guard a lot. It does exactly what it says to prevent grease from getting everywhere. It also cleans up easily either handwashing or in the dishwasher. It has a metal core so it works great for a strainer as well. I haven't used it as a trivet yet. I had an all-metal splatter shield with a metal screen and I tossed that one. This design is a whole lot better.

I needed a splatter guard as I often created a mess on my stove top when cooking chicken or beef as well as frying bacon for breakfast. This product exactly did what it intended to do. Instead of cleaning my stove top after every time I use my skillet, I throw this splatter guard into the dishwasher for easy cleaning. I am also using it as a strainer when I cook pasta and it withstands heat well. It is sturdy and doesn't bend on the edges. Overall, I would say this is a very good quality product.

It works great, takes up little room and came timely. However, when it came one edge looked like it had been either melted or badly crushed. It wasn't in pristine shape, but works well to keep splatters from stove.

This is probably okay as splatter guard if your pan is large enough. This is bigger than expected and its not strong enough to be trivet as described and shown in the pictures. This was the primary reason I bought it. I don't have a lot of space so I had hoped for something that could do double duty. The idea was great, the design, not so much. The center has no support so it rests on the counter in a concave manner. My counters would get damaged because the heat would transfer right through this as there is no gap. Normally a trivet sits higher off the counter. It is also larger than expected due to the handles. I don't unfortunately have enough room as somehow the measurements on the website don't include the handles. For a splatter guard, note that it is very hard to see through it so expect to take it off alot.. The only pan this fit well was a fry pan and it sagged a bit in the center. (My other pans were too small.) It would work best for pans that don't have handles that extend upward. You can hang it but you will need a hook that is skinny. It looks easy to wash but I think I would hand wash it as it seems a bit delicate. Colorwise, I would have preferred black as well. .

Works much better than a metal screen splatter guard. Easy to clean.

This splatter guard is very light. It really reduces splatters. Very easy to wash and keep clean. Does not get hot. I think it will last for years with proper care!
