it is a very straight forward, no fluff book that walks you through the most important things you need to be doing in the classroom. will be keeping this book on my shelf to reference.

Great book.

This book has a ton of useful information for lesson planning, classroom design, classroom management, and tons more. However, they clearly haven't updated this information in the last decade. Outdated tips include using obsolete technology, accessing community grants that don't exist anymore, recommending websites for further research that have the domains removed, etc. I would say it is still worth the purchase if you're tech savvy enough to find alternatives for the outdated information. (Who even has a palm pilot or PDA in 2022?)
